    Hi all,

A couple of months ago I started a Tumblr up in a SFW niche that has been easy to grow. By simply having a full queue posting all the time, and liking 100-200 key words in my niche each day, I'm growing by 100-200 followers every 24 hours. Now that I've reached 10k, I'd like to start monetizing it a bit better.

Currently, I'm serving Google AdSense banners on my Tumblr - just one for the domain in the header. I earn very little from this, perhaps 10 to 50 cents on a good day. Most days I don't make anything. I also offer a Fiverr gig for promoting on my blog. I've made perhaps $50 total, and have three to five gigs per month.

I do not run a money site or do any sort of clickthroughs or referrals with my current Tumblr. My question to everyone else here after much lurking is, "what should I do next?" - it seems like many users say that 10k followers is the 'magic number' when you can begin monetizing. I'm sure many of you don't want to share your trade secrets, but I'm happy to offer my knowledge to others here.

In addition to my main Tumblr with 10k followers, I have another in the same niche with around 3k followers. How can I combine these to earn a larger amount of money per day?

You could try putting clickthroughs to a clickbank product or a cpa offer.

The thought is there with this, but at the same time I'd fear it getting banned. Adsense is toeing the line a little already. Not sure how Tumblr is responding to clickthroughs these days.

I also have a Facebook page that I post on in conjunction to this, and sometimes promote offers to things that my Tumblr/Facebook followers might enjoy through Amazon. I've only done this once or twice, but did earn a little bit of money from some sales.

When's the last time you bought something from Tumblr, lol.
Seriously I'm tired of these CPA/Affiliate suggestions for social media. It doesn't work. Social media is primarily mobile (besides maybe Facebook/Pinterest). App installs can be used if you know what you are doing, but generally CPA networks are not the place to go for those.

Try to brand your blog, make another site for it, you might be able to develop products around your brand, but find an advertiser that could benefit from marketing on your blog.
