Aloha everyone, I'm Jasper G. I'm a 17 year old entrepreneur from Hawai'i. I'm currently designing websites and doing photography locally, and recently discovered the wonderful world of internet marketing. For the last several months I've been studying, studying, and studying some more, now I think I'm ready to begin my career. My goal is to be earning $3,000 a month consecutively, I'm not putting a time that I want to accomplish this by as long as I'm making progress I don't care. $3,000 may not seem like a lot of money, yet if I work at it, and don't give up that will potentially increase.

How do I plan on earning this money? A lot of people on here seem to be earning a fair amount of money through several methods, I'm going to write an e-book. I'm not going to say what niche I'm going to write about, besides that it's very popular and there isn't much quality information available about it. I'll be charging $4 a download for a 70 page informative e-book so marketing it won't put it out of budget and make the marketing part of it a lot easier. In addition to this e-book I'll be launching a website on the same niche as the e-book that will hopefully become an authority site on the niche over some time. I'll also be fooling around with YouTube videos, GPT websites, article websites, and other methods to earn money.

I will update my progress with this Journal on a weekly basis, and reply to all posts and comments made directed at me at this time as well, this will help me keep my time organized and my mind on track. I wish everyone else luck that's starting there online career, I wish for us all to be successful.

    Week 1.
    • Started writing my e-book 8/70 pages.
    • Wrote 3 articles relating to my niche on Squidoo
    • Designed a gallery website for a wood-shop
    • Spent a few hours networking with other internet marketers
    • Started a friend on his career with internet marketing, hopefully he'll succeed as well.
    • Started an internet marketing blog - got deactivated for ref links, will fix soon.
    • Started a micro niche site, blog, and social networks. Time to sell some Tikis (;

Thank you everyone your good luck wishes, I give you the same in return. I won't give up on this Journal for at LEAST 4 weeks (it all depends on how much feedback I get) so you'll have some information to follow if you do subscribe.

    • Thanks Thanks x 2

Great start Hawaii. You've taken action, you're already ahead of the IM learning curve. You're goal will be achieved soon enough I have the feeling. Especially with that ebook.

Take a look into Flippa, I see it bringing you fine results with your given experience.

This goal will only fund my long-term goal. I have a lot planned for the world of internet marketing, hopefully it will all work out, with the help of this community and my family and friends I am certain that I will succeed. I really do think that my e-book will go over fairly well when I release it, unless I miscalculated my niche value.

I've considered using flippa to sell some of my clients websites that I've designed in the past, I just haven't gotten around to it yet. Actually the internet marketing blog that I just launched may someday be worth some money and I may consider selling it then.

    UPDATE
I'm beginning to take on a new micro niche market, I'm fine sharing it with everyone as well because it's exclusive to me and maybe a few other people, and if I decide to bring anyone in on this project then them as well. My niche is Traditional Hawaiian Tikis, I have a Tiki gallery with 100's of traditional Hawaiian carvings that has recently hired me to be in charge of all there internet marketing / advertising, in exchange for 20% of all online sales + hourly rates. I will be focusing on this project over the next couple of days just to get it off the ground then I'll be balancing my e-book and this project evenly after that. If you're interested in working with me on this project message me with a list of your skills and how you think you could help with the project, we will then discuss your rates.

Thank you everyone for believing in me, I plan on going far in the world of internet marketing :)

    Update
I've recently gotten a lot closer to this months $3,000 mark, sadly not through Internet Marketing. I've been lucky enough to sell a $15,000 affiliate product (offline affiliate) and receive several local web-design gigs. Once the sale goes through on the commission product I'll be a lot closer from that alone. From just doing websites all month I'm nearing a $2,000 mark. Now that I've reached this much money I feel that I should re-invest back into my venture and hopefully start pulling in some decent money online.
