[Journey] Growing mobile apps on iOS to 20k MRR

Got charged 100$+ which I don't understand where they are coming from so will go to my not so cool but safe option AWS
you should also give google firebase a shot they have a pay as you go plan and you can host i think up to 5gb of cloud storage, integration is easy.

I'm thinking of launching a journey too, since i'm on the same boat as you. I just started making apps this year and I'm on my second app right now

Scaling up!
5
new subscribers for my second app, organic marketing was not that good today but still being consistent with it.
Fixed UX/UI

I had an issue of my server logic not being able to keep with all the users using the free tier so had to add supabase + edge functions, wanted to do that in AWS as I already have experience with it but decided to give a try to supabase and I'm surprised.

With those I expect the user experience to improve a lot.

Thanks! Will watch them if AWS doesn't end up working

Good luck for your journey!

What programming language do you use for your app?

Update
Reached 18 subs in my second app.
I'm at 620$ MRR due to churn on first app.

Still trying to get organic marketing done right.

I use JS with expo
Here is the documentation https://docs.expo.dev/ it's really easy to start building apps

Update
Made hard changes to the paywall to user journey and the free tier.
I have made a big mistake which was offering users a huge free tier, will reinvest all the money into organic marketing, research, etc.

The app B2C business model is getting a lot of interest in social media to me this is only worth if you know how to do marketing

I prefer this MRR in a B2B, for B2B you only need to fill a gap and do it well.

Impressions from app store boost have dropped to 50 per day.

I'll grow social media accounts before building the next app

Hello, i am in the same situation one app is getting good MRR but the other are not moving , what's your marketing plan for growing with Social media. since i have one app that i think it will blow with social media the only problem i have is the content is hard to make and UGC Videos are so expensive

You could use ai to make ugc videos

Decided to sell the apps for a low amount and pursue web projects.

Got rejected by iOS on latest one due to TOS sometimes it's better to accept that you are not enjoying something and drop it off.

To the next one guys

there's always ways around the TOS , you just need to stop sending them an update everytime and take time before sending it. i had many games and apps that were copyrighted but you just need to find a way to bypass if the ROI is good enough to not care about losing your account and making a new one

Good luck with your another project appreciate!
