Beautiful journey. However, I am a bit concerned about my CTR on Pinterest. It has been drastically low(close to 0.7%). However, I don't have enough data currently. Would you advise anything about improving CTR? I am posting long pins(1080*1920) and doing collage pins with some text on them.I'll post the earnings update along with the RPM on Monday because I'll have completed a full month with Journey. Support mentioned that they're having issues with reporting from EU countries, so the RPM won't be accurate, as it will be higher than it should be.
Only to the relevant board. Sometimes, I may save the pin to 2 or a maximum of 3 additional closely related boards, but I'm not sure if that helps in any way.
Sure, I'll DM you the accounts.
You have to monitor competitors account in your niche and see what they are doing especially accounts with 10m+ views a month, imitate their pin designsBeautiful journey. This is true. I remember spamming the hell out of Pinterest back in 2018/2019. Eventually lost my account and had my domains banned.I can promise you that 100 high quality pins will outperform 20,000 low quality/generated pins.
I've seen those silly "gurus" on Twitter bragging about having 10's of thousands ready to go. They won't be keeping their accounts long, unless they're paying Pinterest to advertise.
Do you work in pinterest?SEO "gurus" that have hit Pinterest hard since Google has changed their algorithm are causing bad advice for site owners and bad effects on the Pinterest users.
The original "moms" of Pinterest have proven time and time again that 1000 x 1500px is the largest and perfect size a pin should be. Larger sizes get shown less by their algorithm.
Users of Pinterest are getting annoyed with the recent amount of ads, clickbait, and spammy pins. They're starting to look towards other platforms.
Regardless of what these SEO guys are saying, all one has to do is take a look at the Pinterest Reddit and X to realize Pinterest users are unhappy with the platform now. Especially the AI generated content.
The average Pinterest user is also getting sick of clicking off to other websites and just getting nothing but crap in return.
My best advice I can give anyone in here, with the current status on Pinterest and the recent flood of spam/ads/ai on their platform is to be different.
No matter what anyone says, the majority of Pinterest users are on the platform for DIY projects, ideas, children, and fashion. Your pin has to be appealing enough for them to want to temporarily leave the Pinterest app in their browser. Bad quality websites and clickbait are causing more and more people to not click to websites from pins, and it's getting worse.
A common theme I hear amongst women who use Pinterest is along the lines of: "I wish it was like it used to be, its just a big ad and spam now."
And one more complaint I hear is about pins getting deleted and ruining people's personal boards.
Deleted by who, and how does it ruin a personal board? And one more complaint I hear is about pins getting deleted and ruining people's personal boards.
I don't want to sell my own products. Display ads + affiliate is a lot easier to manage as a solopreneur. As I understand you make most money with ads.
I think if you could manage to sell own products (especially non-COGS digital ones) you could improve revenue heavily.
You're asking questions which already have answers. Was your personal account a new account or a old account?
A few hundred can bring in substantial traffic if you've nailed your topics/keywords.Because I'm from Latin America and I am fluent in Spanish, but I don't speak English well enough to grow an account in English. How many pins are you referring to? 1000? Give me an approximate number please. Thanks!!
Too little information to give you any straightforward advice. Your pin designs might not resonate with your audience. Study your competition and see what's working for them.Beautiful journey. You've given solid points here. I've never advocated for mass AI spam and I'm completely with you on that matter.SEO "gurus" that have hit Pinterest hard since Google has changed their algorithm are causing bad advice for site owners and bad effects on the Pinterest users.

I have a couple accounts, not employed by Pinterest if that's what you meant.Do you work in pinterest?
So when pins are removed by Pinterest for being spam, duplicate, or shady, people who saved them to their boards get error messages like "pin has been deleted" or "pin has been removed" all over their notifications. It's not a huge deal, just something I've seen complained about a lot lately. Personally, I think Pinterest should just not say anything to someone who had it pinned/saved vs created from their own account. I doubt it's effecting a large portion of the userbase at this point.Deleted by who, and how does it ruin a personal board?
I need help with keywords research, Pinterest trending keywords tends to get fast views that dies off fast as well, you made mention of broad keywords with thousands of search, can you give me the range size e.g 50k-100k because when I post broad keywords with lots of search volumes my impressions is 0, I have tried countless times still 0I don't want to sell my own products. I'm seeing numerous accounts with thousands of AI images. There is no way you can do quality control with such volume. They are pinning crap but that crap is getting saves and engagement which means that the majority of users on Pinterest are oblivious and can't differentiate AI from real images.
Redditors are always vocal in what they want to say but they can't be taken as the sampling to what the average Pinterest user looks like. I wouldn't compare them to the boomers on Facebook who like images of african kids doing Jesus spaceships made from Coca-Cola bottles but believe me, I've seen really bad AI-generated images with thousands of saves on Pinterest.
My general rule of thumb is to target keywords with at least 10k monthly SV, even though I've had decent results with some keywords below that threshold.I need help with keywords research, Pinterest trending keywords tends to get fast views that dies off fast as well, you made mention of broad keywords with thousands of search, can you give me the range size e.g 50k-100k because when I post broad keywords with lots of search volumes my impressions is 0, I have tried countless times still 0
I've kind of abandoned it at the moment. I suspect there won't be anything to report anyway since I haven't gotten a single outbound click from the few posts I've submitted so far.@korni how's the Flipboard experiment going?.....Did you set up a new thread for it?
We're in a new month, should we expect a report of the last month performance? My general rule of thumb is to target keywords with at least 10k monthly SV, even though I've had decent results with some keywords below that threshold.

EDIT: Nevermind, I'm dropping a Flipboard course soon.

We get it, advertisements are annoying!
Sure, ad-blocking software does a great job at blocking ads, but it also blocks useful features and essential functions on BlackHatWorld and other forums. These functions are unrelated to ads, such as internal links and images. For the best site experience please disable your AdBlocker.
