    • Published more content to my zero back linking domain.
    • Tweaked my SER rig a little bit.
    • Watched the Electrify Asia Q&A. Some decent points in there, happy that ETH, OMG and ELEC holders will be getting the airdrop. -
    • Listened to Audible.
    • Changed up some of the plugins on my zero back linking domain and had to tweak a few things on the front end.
    • USDT is in trouble with the US government so I am expecting Crypto to drop a bit now.
    • Went to the gym.
    • Recorded and published my January 2018 update on my youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyfj9qyOzBInnFITIt2Bw0w

    • Received and formatted more art from my freelance artist.
    • Set up some new alfred’s to make writing content easier.
    • Typed up more content for my zero back linking domain.
    • Tweaked some settings on my SER rig.
    • Stayed up to watch the OmiseGo Q&A live incase I didn’t like the sound of the answers and could sell my tokens ASAP. - I like the sound of what I heard so kept my tokens. -

    • My zero backlinking site has started to get the odd hit already, its only been online for around 10 days. Dancing around 1-3. Thats not much but the old style site I put online in early Jan only gets the odd one or two hits per few days. This has to be a good sign.
    • The money pages that I am using in my SER test has been out of the SERPs for three days. I can’t remember if this is normal or not without going through my notes but so much has changed since then its probably a waste of time looking it up. If not much has changed before the re-bill I will cancel the VPS, Proxies and Email and hope the zero back linking site does well.
    • Listened to Audible. Finished listening to Meditations.
    • Updated the layout of my zero back linking domains pages.
    • Typed up more content for my zero back linking domain.
    • Used my monthly audible credit to get Bounce by Matthew Syed.

    • My new zero backlining site has started to get a very small amount of traffic. Curious as to how it performs as it’s already beating the average for the site from early jan that is three weeks older.
    • Typed up more content for my zero back linking test.
    • Crypto has gone a little crazy the past 24 hours. I missed out on the chance for some very cheap OmiseGo while I was sleeping. Earlier it looked like the market was recovering but it seems to be falling again now so I will keep my eyes on the price.
    • It seems we are getting closer to the flippening in crypto. - https://www.flippening.watch/

    • I am only focusing on the over nights for my zero back linking site these days, its unto six hits per day now and its not even two weeks old. I have never had a site get traffic this quickly before. I am hoping it just keeps climbing. My only concern is that the people may not be in the buying mood. If that happens I will add some Adsense ads to the domain.
    • Typed up more content for my zero back linking site.
    • Listened to Audible.
    • Updated the ad layout on my zero backlinking site. In theory it has a higher potential for traffic this way.
    • My main site has started to drop in the SERPs more for some reason, not sure why.
    • Went to the gym.
    • The SER Rigs money page is still out of the SERPs. I have doublets is daily link output in an attempt to get as much out as possible this money so I can cancel the re-bill and observe.

Only doing a half day with it being the weekend.
    • Added some new ideas and note to my Trello for possible future videos for my YouTube channel. - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyfj9qyOzBInnFITIt2Bw0w
    • Increased the SER rigs SERE daily web 2.0 output further as I want all of my manual captcha service solves used up by the time I cancel the VPS and such. The projects money page is still out of the SERPs. The bridge network posts for the project have remained pretty stable though.
    • Went to the gym.
    • Tried to increase security on my zero back linking domain by installing 2FA and a custom login path.
    • Resubmitted some of the page on my zero back linking domain to Google to try and get them indexed.
    • Cought up on my pocket reading and iTunes podcasts.
    • Only typed up one article for my zero back linking domain today.

    • Although i’m not really doing keyword research for my zero back linking domain I ran out of ideas for things to write about. I did more keyword research to help give me some ideas to keep me on my writing schedule.
    • Listened to audible.
    • Posted out to my niche forum accounts to keep them warm.
    • Went to the gym.
    • The SER money page has bounced back into the SERPs, no position gain though.
    • Another round of PBN tests have now been online for 4 month with no change in the SERP positions solidifying my opinion that non-niche related PBNs do nothing these days. I have one last test batch online but I doubt anything is going to happen.
    • The site that was my main site has lost all of its first page rankings now. It looks like its going the same way as the site that was my second main site now and will probably be dead soon.
    • Typed up more content for my zero back linking domain.
    • Started working on the script for my next YouTube video.

    • Started doing some HIIT cardio at the gym to help cut weight quicker and get fitter incase I need to rejoin the airforce in a few month.
    • Did some tests for coming up with topic ideas for my zero back linking domain. I don’t really class it as keyword research, more like content research. If this initial test domain works then it should be easy to scale the content research site of it with scrape box.
    • With the crypto market falling as it is I don’t think I will put any cash into ELEC even though I think it is a safe bet over time. I might put the rest of my ETH into OMG while the ratio is good.
    • Went to the gym.
    • Blackhearted podcasts have rebranded to Launch Code and started publishing content again so I cought up with listening to them. - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6TElRPrdJ255skcJ8LhD2Q
    • Listened to Audible.
    • Typed up my first buyers guide using my content research theory for my zero back linking experiment.
    • Tweaked the layout of my zero backlinks domain again.
    • With all of the sites so far currently looking like they are failiours liquid cash is tight but I am considering requesting my .co.uk and .ca amazon cheques to put it into the OmiseGo crypto currency while its so cheap. I honestly think its a steal under $10 as its predicted dividend with current transactional volume is $0.70-$1.50 for the first year.

Very interesting journey ... the zero-backlinking domain just might out-perform the others! I'll be watching. Thanks for sharing your journey!

Cheers, i'm hoping so as it should be relatively easy to scale into with a few days of training my writers what to do for me. Its more of just catching a wide net and hoping for the best right now though :).

For the site with no backlinks, has it gone from indexed to page one in 2 weeks? If so that's insane.

What kind of site structure are you using? I'm planning a few sites and picking the best niche - I want to have tip top on page so my linkbuilding efforts will be reduced, curious to hear about your approach.

I do a deep dive once a month to share all that type of data. I post it in the journey thread and here on YouTube. This month it will probably be worse than last month as my main site has lost a bunch of positions.

It's hard to track it in the SERPs in all honesty as i'm not really targeting traditional specific keywords with it. I have the odd random keyword per page tracked though and it has one on page one right now and two on page two. I am basically trying to do the opposite people say to do as well as everything I have ever done before.

I'm not sure what you mean by site structure but i'm not SILOing it or anything like that. I have a few articles internally linking to each other and such if they are related but i'm just focusing on getting as much content out as I can right now. I am not really going with traditional onpage factors either. I have seen so much change in the past year with both on page and off page that I doubt there is any real way to do tip top on page. You have to rely on your own observations rather than the stuff you read on BHW though as theres so much crap out there for various reasons.

Take this thread for example, its presented as a guide to onpage but theres no rank tracker or analytics data provided to say the guy has every ranked anything. Some of the stuff actually goes against some of my own observations over the past few month too. I asked a few questions in the thread but the guy never got back to me about them. A bunch of members have now read that thread and could be being lead down the wrong path.

I know a few month back there was some kind of competition in the Jr. VIP forum to try and get "helpful" content out on the forum. I think the winner gets there name as light blue instead of dark blue and I would suspect thats the actual reason for the post. IMO that stuff is a total waste of time and counter productive to the forum though.

Take this post from a previous time they did that competition that is actually a sticked thread now. IMO it provides nothing of value and there are no analytics or rank tracker data posted to suggest the posted has ever ranked anything ever, the same goes for the "updated version". The guy who posted it didn't win the competition then stoped posting on the forum for like 18 month.

Members, especially those with BST threads care far too much about the colour of their names on here and post any old crap to increase their sales and to try and get their name colour the next one up. There have even been mods step down and pretending to leave the forum because they failed to get their name the next colour up and spat their dummy out.

I've read both of the threads you mentioned - although I'm fairly new to SEO (Still in the process of ranking my first site) there is a lot of contradictory information out there, some of which contradicts my own findings. I'm finding competitors sites a great resource, as well as my own findings like you said.

Glad to hear your sites are making a healthy climb, I have one site I'm seeing hope with after dropping 1 PBN link but I'm still quite a way off with falling budget and cash flow. I'll be following your journey as I've found your GSA content useful

Cheers man :) In all honesty I wouldn't use SER on your sites anymore. I dropped it back in August 17 but recently picked it up for a test on one money page but I will probably be canceling it before it rebills. Google have massively upped their game in the past 18 month and a bunch of stuff has stopped working.

You mentioned in Post #792 that " ... with a few days of training my writers what to do for me" ... what are you training them to do?

    @Shaunm,

Love your Blog Bro.. Have been reading it for a longtime now.

Since SER does not work like it was some years ago, do you plan on doing a case study with mostly manual link building, or may be something which does not include the use of SER even for T1 & T2?

Or do we still continue to use SER from T1 onwards?

    Best Regards.

    Cheers dude :).

How to write articles in this new style that I am using for my zero back linking domain.

In all honesty, my main focus is my zero back linking domain now. Although I have one test with SER right now, it was more just to get it out of my system and stop my mind fixing on it rather than expecting any results from it. I have tried a bunch of tests in this journey, some with manual web 2.0s, PBNs and bridge networks. Today its looking like all of those sites have failed to rank long term.
