Hey guys my names Lloyd, I have my own journal thread in White Hat SEO but I wanted to post here and have a daily journey as well for my fiverr gig. I resigned my job about a month ago to do full time IM and make a living online. I have about 2-3 months of savings held up in order to achieve this. I have a website that I've had for about a year that is PR4 and gets me about 100-150 views a day. I have some affiliate links set up as well but those dont seem to be getting me sales right now.

My average earnings are 2-6$ per day right now from adsense on my youtube channel( I'm a youtube partner)

This topic specfically will be just talking about my fiverr journey. Hopefully this can turn into something that will help others as well :)

    Tools:
    Fiverr Gig
    Promoting Via my website
Promoting Via Social Media Sites (FB,Pinterest,StumbleUpon, etc)
Messaging people interested in my gig

    Day 1:

I posted my Gig on Fiverr. Added a video and I'm waiting for that to be processed, it may take up 24 hours from what I've been told. I have two total gigs on Fiverr and thats all. I'm hoping quality over quantity wins on this. I dont want to spam with 20 gigs. I want it nice and simple yet effective.

Total Views so Far on gig:
41 views (1st gig) after promotion
2 views (2nd gig) no promotion

This should be a fairly easy journey:) Maybe you should upscale and change your journey to getting an X amount of fiverr gig sales a day. With no promotion at all I was able to make sales. I suggest reading the fiverr gig golden rules located here on blackhat:).

    Best of luck to you!

The best advice I can give to you on Fiverr is to always be prepared to give your gig within a few hours. A couple days ago I made my first sale on Fiverr, it was a backlinking gig. I was feeling good, but then reality hit me. My gig promised 600+ edu backlinks, but I only had 500 or so blogs saved up! All these days since I launched my gig, I'd been slacking off on scrapebox, being too lazy to harvest new AA edu blogs, thinking to myself "No one's going to buy my gig for some time, I have some time to get everything ready..." I panicked and ended up quickly harvesting some links, and ended up with about 590 backlinks. It was a close call, and I sure hope the buyer doesn't get mad. Since then I've been harvesting edu blogs, and now have enough to not worry about them anymore, but only for now.

Moral of the story: Be sure to 24/7, without fail, have the materials, resources, and time to make sure that when someone buys the gig, they'll have it delivered without a problem.

    @shahnry

I definitely agree with you, I plan on having online income my ways of living so I find it important to be the best in your field and always prepared. My gig is an eBook that I feel is very valuable for the time I invested into it. It took me about 5-6 hours. I examined my competition in my field and even asked them questions. When they are offering a 3 page ebook and getting 300 orders somehow. Mine is almost 10 times larger. I hope quality will pay off but I need that first sale to be my stepping stone :)

No offense, but what are these journey threads coming to? A journey to making $5 total? Seems like you aimed a little low ;)

The first fiverr sale is just the catalyst to make more sales. :)

It wouldn't hurt at all to have 20 gigs running even though some are just there to fill up space. Surprisingly though, I have had success with thinking of 20 gigs. When you're forced to think of 20 gigs, you're forced to think out of the box. With that being said, the gigs that you come up with are sometimes one of a kind and no matter how absolutely insanely crazy your gig might be- I'm surprised that people actually order it.

If there's one thing I've learned from fiverr, it's that people will sometimes buy the weirdest things which makes it unique:).

Okay, got it! I just thought you wanted one Fiverr sale and for that purpose, a journey thread is quite useless. Good luck with your sales!

I would deliver it quickly! Also if you can, give them more then promised, and politely ask for feedback.
