    • Income is up a little due to delays in items being shipped and a bunch of the higher ticket items all being published last night, traffic is still down around 30% on my two main domains from all time high.
    • Article 1 - 2132 Words.
    • Article 2 - 1820 Words.
    • I did a little more keyword research for the informational domain that I want to start next year, I also did some analysis on the zero search volume keywords that I am starting to publish content for too for the second round of the test. I have noticed that Keywords Everywhere says they all get 0 searches but the SERPLab search volume production in my rank tracker usually shows search volume.
I also uploaded a video taking a more in-depth look at my domain that I started in August 2019 that managed to make around $1200 last month before this whole virus scare that might be motivating for some people following this so I have embedded it below :).

    • I was feeling really productive today but my site grounds hosting kept going down causing me issues to finish my articles but I managed to get two done today.
    • I spent some time going over my analytics and rank tracker data for the project that I started in August last year looking for patterns for some test keywords but nothing really out of the ordinary to help me improve my keyword research method.
    • Chased my Upwork freelance writer up as his content is due tomorrow but I know his country is having issues due to the virus lockdown so if he can't deliver on time I can easily push the deadline.

    Hi there,

I recently found a niche where there is a site dominating it with about 100k visitors a month, his DR is just 9 and he barely has any links built to his articles.

His content and on page seo is pretty good not gonna lie.

Would you try to go for this niche and outrank slowly outrank him by focusing on building links to each article? (Supposing I have better or similar onpage and quality content)

As @WebMinati showed in a Case Study he ranked by just building Quality Blog Comments and Forum Comment links to those pages.

Also what are your thoughts on building some do follow links from high DR sites not neccessarily contextual, such as the ones @Rachmaninoff shows in his posts?

What are your thoughts on this?

The webmaster might be blocking crawlers and not using naked anchor texts to make it hard to see a massive PBN or something like that if the domain really is getting 100,000 organics a month. Additionally, if you are getting that traffic estimate from something like similar web then it is likely very wrong as they are never anywhere close to my traffic for my domains.

I would check the search volumes with tools like keywords everywhere to try and workout whats actually happening first. Also, try to workout his lowest competition keywords and potentially go for them.

I haven't used blog comments in years but I have been using manual forum links more and more and they seem to be working well so far.

I'm not familiar with his posts but I have stuff like manually curated, high DR do follow links from a directory pointing to my latest domain that are not contextual. I also have a few event sites linking to me too that are also not contextual either and a few other things like that. I just try to make sure the links are on domains that are not spammed to death.

Yeah Ubersuggest says it hays 60k, ahrefs 35k but from what I have seen it is always higher than what those tools show.

This is in the spanish market so it is more common to see low dr sites with EMDs.

Hope hes no hiding a PBN

Thank you so much for the insights, if you dont mind I have 2 more questions.

What or your thoughts on having syndication network rings, does it have any positive effects on SEO this 2020?

And how about google property stacking for an affiliate site?, I know it works for local businesses but maybe it works for affiliate sites too.

I have never used syndication, its essentially just duplicate content if I am thinking of the same thing so I have never tried it.

What do you mean by property stacking? Like making multiple domains all targeting the same keywords to get 1st, 2dn, 3rd ranks? This can still work well to my knowledge and I actually plan to do it again in a few years. I inadvertently used to do it back when I used to do my old bridge network stuff as they would end up ranking and getting traffic too.

Yeah iits having iftt setup to syndicate content to other properties such as blogger, tumblr, etc...

Google property stacking is using for example a google site as a parasite and create many properties from google such as gdocs, calendar, sheets, maps and all and embed them into your gsite, many seo agencies do it, if you check Virginia SEO you have a gsite ranking first and the actual agency ranking third

Bradley Benner has courses about this, but I think it is a bit old for 2020 even though he updates them and all

    Nice earnings btw man!

Theres courses on all sorts of stuff these days, the issue is that many of the people selling those courses only make their money from selling the actual course, not the crap they are telling other people to do. There was a thread on Reddit a few days back about Matt Diggity and how he is essentially doing this but with selling backlinks rather than a course. I never really read the full thread but the jist was based around how he is pretending that affiliate marketing is easier than ever to get into right now to try get people under quarantine to waste money on his links.

    • I got a phone call today from someone saying they were from Amazon, they knew my name and affiliate tracking ID for one of my main projects but I couldn't really understand what they were saying so I emailed Amazon affiliate support and they said it wasn't them. Not sure how they got my number, name or affiliate ID but be careful if anyone phones you pretending to be from Amazon as there seems to be some kind of scam going.

How did they know both the name and the ID?
Have you tried googling their number?

That's scary, the only thing I can think of is do you have privacy set up on all your domains? If they came across your site, saw it was an Amazon affiliate site and your details were available through your domain registration that might be how they got it.

No idea, they had my phone number too that I don't give out. They spoofed the real Amazon phone number.

Yea I have it setup, the mobile number I use on my registrars is not the number they phoned me on either.

    OMG!
Looks like it's a leak from Amazon, or someone hacked your account. Change the password there. And maybe even change the phone number.
Also, if you're a buyer on Amazon too or use AWS and have your credit card info stored in your Amazon account, remove it ASAP.
