What themes are you using? The biggest factor should be speed as I saw and user-friendly..
Nah, only around a third of the pages on that domain have display ads on them anyway and out of them very few are getting traffic anyway. Although I can apply to the premium ad brokers its likley that they will want to put their ads on all of my pages. My buyer intent affiliate pages are close to $100 RMP now and I feel that putting display ads could actually bring this down. I may do some testing on one of my older sites once it jumps over the 10,000 uniques a month mark but i'm just leaving things as they are right now.
I have used a colourmag and newspaper and a few others on my older sites and they were really clunky but my new one is using Astra and I love it. It is quicker, offers excellent customization even on the free version and everything just seems to be more fluid. I would highly recommend you try it and see how you feel, I doubt that I will ever use a different theme on my future domains now. Although I haven't tried them, people also highly recommend OceanWP too as its very similar to Astra with some people also thinking highly of GeneratePress too.
That is a smart move for sure, thanks for the insight.
Also I am glad you are using Astra, I have done alot of research into SEO ready themes and I have come to the conclusion that astra is the best looking one and most optimized aswell. Maybe generatepress too but I prefer Astra's design and functionality.
Yea I only found Astra a few months back via Bloops journey thread and i'm a big fan of it .
Is that the free version of Astra? Following your journey
Yea mate just the free version of Astra.

One guest post published but the webmaster forgot to add the link, I have worked with them before so I think it's just an oversight so I have emailed them to check whats going on.
I found another sub-niche that I know pretty well for the new domain, not going to do any keyword research for it yet but it gives me more keywords for after this current sub-niche to churn more content out for.
Great work man with the content.
I watched your videos and you metioned you take a quick break every hour or so, can I ask how many hours a day you write content?
Also, do you get up early and get started or are you a nighthawk?
Also, when writing the content do you have a split screen? - like the products on Amazon on one side of the screen and the text editor on the other?
I'm trying to put together a plan so I can write 4k words a day and would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks for doing this journey man.
I forgot to put the monthly update video in the update for today so it's above.
I have been slacking over the last two weeks with my articles as I have had a ton of offline stuff to do but it should get back to normal from next week so I can prioritize my new project. Due to this the time I have spend per day has gone down but its probably easier to go on a per article basis. It usually takes me around two to two and a half hours to publish a 2000-2500 word article in this current sub-niche as I know it and don't have to research it much. The other day I tried an article that I had no idea about and it took around four and a half hours and was just under 2000 words and totally drained all my energy too.
I am definatley a night owl, I love listening to chillstep or viking music at night and can just smash content out with ease. My plan from next week is to try to get one article out on a night and one out first time and potentially one in the middle as that's what I used to do in like August and managed to publish over 160,000 words that month.
The vast majority of the articles I do myself are from content templates that I build to let me smash them out as quickly as possible so the stuff I need from Amazon is usually pasted into the wordpress article via the Alfred app so I don't have to split the screen. I touch on how I make my templates more here that may be helpful, I would highly recommend that you make some if you are building this type of site as it can save you a ton of time in my opinion. If you are wanting to smash out 4000 words a day this might be worth watching too as it goes over how a few things I have learned to let you publish your content quicker, not sure if it will actually be helpful but it might.
Are you seting yourself some weekly goals for content words? Do you have any tips for motivation to not slack of, because it seems like we all struggle with this haha
For the last few weeks, I have just been trying to get one article out a day due to having so much on whereas from next week I want to try for two a day and then try reprogram my habits to get 2/3 a day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays I have offline stuff I have to do so its usually my most unproductive days for my online projects.
Regarding motivation, it might be worth trying to workout what MTBI you are, I have only just got into it myself and know there is a bunch of stuff saying the big 5 system is better but MTBI can be a quick and easy way to get a basic idea. The 16 personalities test is popular but from what I have seen on Reddit, the truity test is the best free one and is more accurate while only takes like 5-10 minutes. If you get good match for ISTJ you should be able to build your productivity habits easily and then after that from what I understand, anything that ends in xxTJ comes in second with anything that ends in xxxJ coming in third. If you get xxxP then it's apparently likley that you will be in for an uphill battle when it comes to productivity though.
Like I said though, it's not a proven science, just something I find interesting and what I said above productivity types defo fits my friends who I have asked to do the test once they tell me their results. If anyone does do the test post your results in the thread, I always like to see this type of stuff . Heres mine.
I'm an INTJ. I wouldn't call myself a mastermind though
Gifts Differing by Myers Briggs is well worth reading.
Its a useful tool for gauging overall personality type, but there can be a lot of differences within any given type depending on the circumstances. It is also worth saying that one type isn't better than another - they all have strengths and weaknesses.
Just added it to my list on Audible, I was actually looking for books on MTBI a few days back but none caught my attention.
What are your thoughts on Income School strategy? Did you hear about it anything? I learned some great things from them, however I'm not sure if I should believe everything they say. For example not buying links and this topic.. I think it's something we should do if done correctly
I've just changed over to it as I was using Schema by my theme shop but recently I was having the breadcrumbs issue in search console because I couldn't update the theme! So far i like Astra
can you do a demo on how your site looks and how it is structured in a demo site with dummy contents
I do different stuff to them but the domains in my site report two ($300 a month) and site report three ($1000 a month) videos are white hat with no real backlinks. I haven't seen any of their recent videos as the quality went downhill massively in my opinion after they don't all those ones in the ghost town a year or so back. On top of that, to my knowledge, they have never addressed their Improve Photography traffic prediction on AHRefs in the image below. I know AHRefs traffic predictions are usually off, the general traffic curve of the traffic is usually correct in my experience.
It suggests that they were hit by an algorithm update a few weeks before (if i remember the timeline correctly) they published a video on how none of their sites have ever been hit by an algorithm update. I know coming out and saying that one of their biggest domains has been hit by an algorithm update will probably break the Income School business model, I think they should have got out ahead of it due to tools like AHRefs being able to suggest that it happened.
Good to hear , Astra won be over very quickly too in all fairness to it.
I have the demo with article layout and stuff in the video below that might be helpful .
First of all, what an impressive journey! Second, I got a question that's been boggling my mind for a bit now. Do you believe that adding more and more content increases the authority of all pages on the site in the long run? - As the older posts age and get linked to from newer posts (plus on-page SEO), would their authority ever be noticeably boosted without links pointing to them?
I know you've literally just said it's not scientifically backed but this is a bugbear of mine. Had a CMO tell me he literally uses this stuff to judge his staff and I couldn't bite my tongue hard enough.
This stuff is written like horoscopes to be generic-sounding shit, bolster your ego and sell you some shit. Widely proven to be as bullshit as a ball of gas light-years away deciding your future. The guy wrote it to sell a book. Do it for fun but for your own sake don't act purely on whatever it tells you.
If anything we can take this as a marketing lesson. Tell people they're special and your refund rate will be super low.
Otherwise, I'm loving the journey.

New article job pushed to freelance writer.
Not going to be online much until Monday now due to having my brothers birthday and family over from Germany and a few other things. I will still try to get bits done each day this week but it will be small things, hoping to hit it hard from Monday though .
I am hoping that the Amazon dashboard has crashed again, this has happened a few times but they usually sort it out by now. Basically I have no conversions showing up on my Amazon.com account today and I usually have a few hundred dollars done already. The fact that all other storefronts have updated on my OneLink dashboard leads me to believe that it is an internal problem with Amazon.com so I guess its just a waiting game. Checked my Analytics and traffic is normal and the other Amazon store fronts all seem to be working fine.
Cheers Dude .
Thats kind of one of the theories that I am working on but its not based around content but rather backlinks to increase the overall power of the domain. For example, my current main domain and my last domain I choose a few high search, high commission keywords to backlink to try get them into the top 3 with a bunch of content that is low comp that should be able to get top 3 just by the backlinks to the high search pages increasing the power of the domain rather than having backlinks built directly to them too.
Cheers Dude .
