The surge in traffic was just a spike. Turns out google ranked me 1st then 2nd and now threw me off the first page. Google dance, what can I say. This can be entertaining if it starts chiming again.

Aiming for 1k words per article in general (PAAs). For 0 comp, much less.

Yes. After getting approved to adsense it caught the tail end of the traffic spike and milked 1 glorious dollar from that little biatch.

Happy to hear that since I can imagine the "progress" of some of my side projects can be rather demotivating for readers.

I must learn more from you when it comes to monetization, because you are the guy who can turn little traffic to big cash :)

Added one more article and 2 more got indexed. Nothing new traffic-wise, 1-2 users per day. I might try some interlinking plugins, up until now I did it manually.

Google autocomplete mostly, sometimes keywordtool.io

For paa, I made a script that scrapes and creates articles, but I realized it's better to just do it manually on Google. I can select quicker which questions have potential and their order in the article.
 
How many PAA do you include in an article?

Just finished writing a 2.2K words article. Feels good.

I haven't done much interlinking, actually only a few articles are manually interlinked so I set up a plugin (YARPP). This will speed up the indexing and future ranking.

My first goal for this journey is to publish 100 articles. I have 70 more to go. Timeline: less than 2 months. So aiming for more than 1 article per day.

I have a bunch of articles already thought out in my head which are related and easy to write down fast. Today I'll start with the titles and headings, throw in some PAAs and tomorrow I'll grind out the bulk of the content.
 
I'm a newbie, I don't understand what a paa website looks like, can you send me some reference urls?

Are you just copy pasting paa snippets from google or rewrite/rephrase them? Are you adding images?
 
Can you send me a url of a certain PAA on Google so I know how they will be structured?
