Hi people!

I decided to start a new blog to experiment with fresh ideas and make some money in the process. My previous journey was fortunate and I hope I can bestow some of that magic onto this project as well. This time the content will be in English and targeting a different but related niche.

What I've done so far:

- A few weeks ago I found a very beautiful expired domain. Nothing special in terms of link profile, just a few clean backlinks, but it looks very good as a brand name.
- I slapped a wp install and started writing a couple articles per day.
- Fast forward to today, I have 26 published posts of which 10 are indexed.
- Yesterday one of my articles ranked in India somehow which brought me 200 unique visitors overnight and a JUICY chunk of 1,400 page views. I immediately applied for adsense (got approved several hours later).

This prompted me to start a journey thread.

Keyword research and content:

I'm going to use 2 techniques to get content ideas. The first one is from my previous journey, abc soup combined with checking serp results, which gives me 0 comp keywords that rank ASAP.

The second technique is fixing bad PAA's. I find niche related questions with very bad answers and write good answers instead. This is very pleasant, I love answering questions and it's easier to write articles this way. Plus, I won't have to worry about competing with automated PAA websites in my niche because those will just copy-paste/paraphrase the bad answers.

Monetizing:

I will monetize with ads and affiliate and maybe even guest posts.

Questions and Answers:

What's the niche?
Toodaloo, caribou!

Since there are no further questions, let's go go go!

Toodaloo, caribou!
I googled this thinking it was really a niche.
Turns out it means "see you later" in French.

Good Luck on your journey, I wish you get to your target sooner.

Edit:

I hit the reply button too soon.

You said you were accepted hrs later in Adsense. How many hours did it take or you are being sarcastic?

I'm wondering, how important do you think the expired domain is? Would you think you have a good advantage over using a new one? Noob question I know.

You already did great job, congratulations on taking the action :)

Best of luck on the journey :)

Good luck with your journey. Following to see how it goes.

Great to see another journey from you :). Indian traffic can surprise big time, after all more than 100 million people there speak English, and that's some volume... Good luck to you and looking forward to updates!

UPDATE:
