[Journey] Build a profitable e-commerce brand in 120 days

This didn't quite progress as I would like as I had some issues dealing with Google Merchant Centre bans, so had to be a bit more creative. so i will be resuming this thread shortly now that it has been resolved (as in Im not using google anymore)

A little bit of advice I would offer is to look at the whole customer package. I was involved in a similar business years ago and what helped us to stand out was out packaging. The items we bought were 925 silver from China but we then repackaged them. A nice box, padding, a paper bag, a cleaning kit and some instructions to look after your jewellery.

It all helped to up the perceived value of what we were offering. Look at Tiffany unboxing videos and you will see a similar thing, that first impression of the goods really matter especially as you look to increase price. Again compare the Tiffany unboxing to your normal AliExpress parcel that arrives.

Don’t get caught in a race to the bottom.
Very good advice. Especially about avoiding a race to the bottom.

I am closing this thread because 120 days have surpassed mainly due to GMC suspension.

In terms of Lessons Learnt or skills gained in this period:
I have become more adept at Shopify web design. I am able to create additional prompts for personalised products and create modal windows for sizing charts.
My product research methods have expanded due to me constantly being on Ali Express.
I am understanding the Google Policies at a greater detail. Constant frustration can do that to you lol. I am hoping this little experience pays off
Product Photography - I am starting to get a better eye at finding and editing product photos to make it more quality.
I have some experience with Tiktok ads. But the issue was that my ad content was shit and my product photo was meh at the time, so no conversions.

The most unfortunate thing is that there is no $$$$$$$. But whatever, I'll keep improving and going

I will be creating a new one to give myself a bit of flexibility in terms of duration
