    Hey guys,

So I've started up a new venture in affiliate marketing. I've bit the bullet and started running a blog that I actually give 2 shhts about. I found a PR 3 domain on expireddomains that fits the topic quite well. I've written five 1000 word blog posts with photos. I purchased 2 videos from fiverr to talk about my products which I'm going to embed in articles to make landing pages.

I'm going to write two 1000 word articles on relating topics every week and do internal seo to link them to each other, and the product landing pages that I endorse. I'll bring on related products and purchase videos for them, probably 1 per month or two. Then link them into the site appropriately. All my videos are going up on youtube, tumblr, twitter and facebook. Every time I post an article, I'll have it update to my social media accounts.

I don't know much about gaining traffic and I don't have much money other than the $10-20 per video, but I am an educated writer and I have a topic that I have 3 years experience in. I have a couple $100 google adwords coupons that I can use, probably 2-3 months in.

In the next few weeks I need to read up on if I should have a seperate page hosting my affiliate articles and how to maintain a PR3 blog without letting the rank drop.

If anyone has advice, I'm always open to constructive criticism.

I'm going to keep updating this journey until it produces $300/mo

    Update: Monday April 27th

Today I installed wordpress on AWS and I wrote another 1000 word article. I also secured another $100 for advertising once the page is ready. A friend of mine expressed interest in working with me on blog posts, so we could potentially post 5 times a week. Additionally I've set up our official social media accounts. I'm moving into a new house so thats all I was able to get done today. The next few days might be a bit slow aswell.
