@Big Ron sharing my own stats from the last 30 days.

Product Links = I have a page dedicated to a buyer keyword and I directly link to a product.
Native Shopping Ad = Shown before the last H2 heading of the article. I will try and move it around to see if at the end is better, or mid article, etc. I am yet to test that out.

Obviously the product links get a massive click through rate compared to the product links, but the conversion rate is still only 3.62% of the clicks and < 1% of the impressions.

You said product link twice in your last paragraph. Did you mean Native are better?

    Oops corrected below:

Obviously the product links get a massive click through rate compared to the Native Ads, but the conversion rate is still only 3.62% of the clicks and < 1% of the impressions.

Fantastic thread! Flew through all the pages, thanks for making so many informative posts! And to everyone else that has commented, providing advice and keeping the thread active.

I wanted to pm you about the IS membership but I'm brand new here again (was registered years ago with a now closed email, no idea what password was) anyway if you could pm me soon as you can, would be appreciated.

    Keep up the great work

Income School did a video about a month ago on their 9 income streams. That's something for you guys to think about as you head down this blogging journey.

Always ask yourself: "Self, what can I branch off of this blogging side hustle that can make me extra money?"

For income school, if I can remember it all, it was like:
    • ad rev from their blogs
    • selling content from their on-staff writers to the public (very expensive)
    • Selling eBooks and eProducts from their blogs
    • Selling their P24 memberships
    • YouTube income from P24 blogs
    • Private consultation services where they review your website and give you advice
    • Affiliate sales, like Blue Host, etc.
    • Acabado theme sales
That's all I can remember. Point is, keep your eyes open on how you can expand your revenue stream.

I started offering content writing outside of BHW. I have made $480 in October already, averaging about $40 per 2,000-word article. I do it in my spare time and it helps me sharpen my writing skills. I would really like to ramp that up with a website.

Anyway, just saying to keep your eyes open for more money. There's a gal who's a member in P24 that makes full-time money managing people's Pinterest accounts.

I remember watching income schools reports a while back on their earnings. What I took out of it was it was very similar to the gold rush.

Websites = Gold. Some gold dust is easy to find ($10-$30 per month) , some better prospectors can find some small nuggets ($30 - $500 a month) and a few do really well ($500+ per month)

But while 90% of people searching for gold don't make money the people who do become really well are those selling the shovels (ie methods, templates, memberships, advice). Lets look at the income again and see what we can find:

    • ad rev from their blogs <-- GOLD
    • selling content from their on-staff writers to the public (very expensive) <-- SHOVEL
    • Selling eBooks and eProducts from their blogs <-- SHOVEL/GOLD
    • Selling their P24 memberships <-- SHOVEL
    • YouTube income from P24 blogs <-- SHOVEL
    • Private consultation services where they review your website and give you advice <-- SHOVEL
    • Affiliate sales, like Blue Host, etc. <-- SHOVEL
    • Acabado theme sales <-- SHOVEL
I only count a little bit of GOLD in there and mostly SHOVELS. They are great SHOVEL sellers. They broke down there income in one video and about 95% of their income came from what I would deem SHOVEL's in this analogy.

Just another perspective on it. It doesn't mean you can't be a shovel seller either in your own niche. Just remember that selling shovels is more consistently profitable then searching for gold nuggets. You want to sell the dream....

Many, that's a GREAT way of analyzing it. You are 100% correct too. Find additional income streams, find your shovels to sell...man, we should be charging for this stuff....it's....IT'S GOLD I tell ya!

Reading up on Google's affinity for E-A-T so I beefed up my Hero Image on my homepage. The Acabado theme comes with a banner at the top of the homepage which they call the Hero Image. I pulled it down into Paint 3D (no judging! I don't have a fancy image editor) and added some accolades. It now shows that I have more "authority" by listing the following:
    • Podcast Guest Speaker
    • Podcaster
    • Radiology Continuing Education Instructor (in my field, we are required to take continuing education seminars every two years. to keep our license)
    • Philanthropist (just added to be symmetrical on the banner)
Then, to top it off, I added the words "Google E-A-T" in the bottom right-hand corner... just in case Google actually comes to look at it.

I don't feel this distracts from the overall site in any way, although it does look a bit "busy." This is one solution I'm trying to add more Expertise - Authority - Trustworthiness to my site.

Have a look: The Radiologic Technologist.com

No, the whole story is in this Journey thread but the summary is they kind of let me in on accident, without aP24 paid membership, when I bought Acabado.

Still in the concept phase on the videos. I'm the type that gets stuck overplanning and not executing. To answer your other questions, I've added four articles in Oct. Some are 4000+ words with one being a big Buyers Guide type. It generated hundreds of Amazon clicks but not many sales.

I should be focusing more on niche #2 but as you and I suspected, and IS just confirmed it in a video five days ago, the old model they preached of build a new niche every 3 months and move on has ended. Now they are admitting that Googe wants to see more ownership. They now preach to stick to one site and make it an authority site.

for quick image edits I almost never open my adobe suite anymore. I continually find myself using "CANVA" for header and feature images and especially for Pinterest, they have a ton of free layouts and templates.

Finally! A decent day. This was from posting a "Study Guide" made up of around 15 different pages.

Did you move to Ezoic from Adsense? If so, why did you make the switch?

How many visitors daily do you get now? What's the CTR for your Ezoic ads?

P.S sorry for so many questions, as I am building a niche site too, averaging 30-40 IPs daily mainly from Facebook, tier1/tier3 50/50, Adsense RPM is about $3.

Yes I moved from AdSense to Ezoic. they are both owned by Google. So when you make that move you still put out ads from both sides. The Ezoic AI uses an algorithm that can choose which add to show based on algorithm.

I know it’s a long journey thread but I’ve shared all of that already. When I get time I will post screenshots of the data you’re asking for. The metrics for yesterday, which was a big day for me, are not showing up yet on the control panel. It takes them a while to show the previous days data.

I just got an email from Ezoic, they said my stats are too small for their AI to behave accurately, have me check back after a few months.

I saw you have a sticky bottom ad on your page, which plugin do you use for that?
