Hey Big Ron! Not an info. product idea BUT:

You ever thought about having a roadmap for people who want to be in the radiology career field?

Have an ebook to guide them and refer them schools and companies who can help.
There are Hospitals who will pay for their training and school.
After they are all done, they will have a guarantee job lined up with the company (part of the contract).

or have like a service where they can get in touch with people who are IN the career field and that could be their "mentor" and guide

Schools have affiliate programs as well but of course that's not an info. product.

Keep up the great work too btw!
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm getting ready to separate from the service after 10 years and I'm so vulnerable in how I'm going to make a living.
Stumbled upon a LOT of digital marketing courses but naturally gravitated towards Project 24

Did some digging and discovered an awesome community here on blackhatworld.
Thank YOU Sir for your service :)

Looks like random spam. I get a ton of similar links without building anything. I don't think anyone would intentionally build anything like this.

Agreed, those look like a someone web scraping for keywords and using a script reposter. Those URLs look suspect at best.
Some of my old dead-ish sites have random backlinks to completely off the wall and unrelated pages. An example is my old photography portfolio site was linked to a few Japanese furniture wholesalers.

Last one - just out of curiosity, spam or intentional?

Still looks like spam to me. If they were link building I don't believe they would be unprofessional about it.

That was his first site that went well. I would absolutely think it was possible he spammed links around it early on.

But it's from April 2019 and I doubt it holds any seo value. I'm not saying they haven't built links, but its definitely possible to rank without.

I have a new pets niche blog (6 months old) with 14k page views a month, without a single link built by me.

ARGH! I just found this browsing through the journey history. Yes, this is a possibility. I've been trying to figure out how to tie in a revenue generator. I guess what is blatantly obvious is that a lot of money in this niche is made from offering studying programs. Programs that help you study for your board exams. There are dozens of them. Becuase of that reality, I jsut never figured there was much room for one more study online site.

Maybe it is time for a comprehensive review of all online study programs for ARRT board exams. Then, with those results, I could get a better grasp of how professional these site are. It is always possible to outperform an existing business. I mean, look at the burger business: McDonalds, Wendys, Burger King, Jack in the Box, and on and on. Just because a market is saturated doesn't mean there isn't room for competition who can do it better.

    Thanks for the comment.

I bet you could also value add by selling an ebook for like 5 to 10 bucks a pop for interview questions asked in radiologic technologist field to help them ace the interview xD

I like that idea. I just posted in for FB groups:

[Help the Students Project] Do you remember any of the interview questions that you were asked when you APPLIED to your Rad Tech Program?

    I'll report back on results.

I am no expert in the ARRT stuff, but in my career I have acquired several "certifications" at one time or another.

    Things I have purchased include:
    • Apps - both more involved ones and simple question/answer or flashcard format.
    • Flashcards
    • An 8.5 x 11 'cheat sheet' [I see one selling on Amazon right now for the PMP for $20!!! It looks like just a well organized, colored, and laminated page of dense info]
    • An 8.5 x 11 document with all necessary formulas to memorize
    • Crash courses, boot camps, coaching [company paid for]
    • Books [obviously]

You are very correct man, I thought I was the only one who suspected link building going on those websites own by the income school guys when Big Ron shared them with us.

I ran all the websites on SEMrush, I discovered unnatural curve in traffic growth (sharp hockey stick growth as they are fond of saying) on some of those websites.

Take for instance, "Drillwarrior.com" has DA and PA of 3 and 21 respectively. The websites ranks at #6 for " front door security", a keyword of 41 difficulty on KeywordRevealer.com ( probably 14 KD on ahref).

The average DA of top ten result for the keyword, "front door security" is 65 and the average PA is 43, and this indicate that the keyword is not entire weak.

So how come did a website which is less than 2 years with DA of 3 manage to rank for such short tail keyword?? Backlinks

Little check on the exact page of Drillwarrior.com that rank for "front door security" on Backlink checker shows that there are 75 baklinks to this page alone and the entire backlinks to the websites stood at 338. And this is the case with Outdoortroop.com too.

Could it be that those guys are under pressure to replicate the success of CamperReport.com on other sites too?? Only time will tell. Let's keep the finger cross.

So, we all agree backlinks are very important. I everyone listed their Top 2 ways (to keep it simple) on how you create backlinks, we can all learn and benefit.

I haven't actively built backlinks yet. But the two most common methods I've seen are:

    1. Purchase links - requires a huge budget to get good quality links.
    2. Manual outreach / guest posts - this includes skyscraper technique and guest posting. Many sites have caught onto this though and will ask for money for the links anyways.

I doubt it. Most of the backlinks are sh*te.

They also redirected an old blog of theirs too drillwarrior (diyhousesecurity), the same for outdoortroop (cabinfreedom). So, you're seeing blog posts that are in some cases over 2 years old ranking with established backlinks. The door security article is one such article, it's an old aged post.

I'm not sticking up for them and saying that they aren't linkbuilding, but most of the links that have been posted here are pure garbage and something nobody would want.

The screenshots below are for a blog of mine that I have built maybe 50 links to, the rest is just natural links from all sorts of weird scripts people use to scrape keywords and post content:

These are newly acquired links in the last 30 days below. I have in no way built over 300 backlinks, I have maybe built 10.

    It's all just random cr*p.

There is the obvious whitehat youtube/Pinterest branded web 2.0s.

Then there are the other ones. My 2 picks are this and this lol. The same author but what can I say. He spoon-feeds you great links. Taught me to think a little differently about links.

I'm planning on waiting until about month 3 to start building links. I've done a few blog comments but no real links yet.

I have only read up to July 1st but something I recommend for extra traffic is posting answers to Quora questions with backlinks. Also getting out a newsletter twice-3 times a month with the top posts. Last tag other "plumbing" groups and products in social media posts. My brother once tagged a local "harbor freight" and received 10k impressions. Check the photo. I'm gonna keep reading this is an amazing post Big Ron.

Push your facebook page and then you can invite people from the page to the group. Also, they both have different algorithms so if you post to them both different people will see each post.

I didn’t know about the different algorithms. I pinned a post on the Page a few months ago just saying all communication will be on the Group page. You think it is worthwhile to post on both?
