[Journey] Bing Ads + Clickbank & Direct Linking

Valiant effort mate.

Takes balls to take action, even bigger balls to record everything on a public forum while doing it.

Keep hustling, I'm sure you'll eventually find a winning campaign. Go back to making some cash working offline or freelancing online, then try again.

Good luck

I am waiting you create your own journey thread. so i can follow you :D
I started a new Bing Ads to Clickbank direct linking campaign in late August of 2019. I’ve gotten around 900 clicks and 11 sales while spending $500 or so. Problem is that all 11 sales were made with 11 different keywords searched on by the customers, so no consistent converting keyword as of yet.

Question, how many sales on average does it take to identify a “”Golden Nugget” keyword so that I can shut off all of the non-performing keywords? 50 sales? 100 sales?

Appreciate any words of wisdom.

Thanks so much!!

Hello my dawg, 4 years ago I was making $26 bucks for every $12-$16 spent on Bing Ads. I got a new job and lost track of my PPC project. Bing Ads is now different with a few new rules like "you are not able to use a Display URL anymore" meaning that you must buy a domain & redirect to your offer, you can't just use the URL of your affiliate link.

Anyway, my method is simple. I found a good offer on Clickbank, then I buy a domain on Godaddy and redirect it to my affiliate link. I created a campaign on Bing Ads with 4 ads and the goal is to get those penny clicks $0.05 - $0.10

I'm not an expert but I have experience with PPC marketing so I can help you. These are my stats from today so far.

Bing Ads 29 clicks 0.04 average click cost and 1.14 spent in total.

I will update, I expect to convert 1 person in 200-250 clicks that's $8-$10 in PPC cost and the commission for each sale is $26.

I created 3 campaigns with different ads targeting different keywords in each campaign.

Greetings!
You are gonna love this I'm working on this, Check it out and let me know what you think https://bit.ly/2HnIORe

In search ads the the consistent converting keywords are the brand or product keywords. You are working with generic / upper funnel keywords like "how to lose weight" or "lose weight fast" I assume. These KWs can convert but their cvr is very low so you'll never be profitable.

Thanks for the recommendation! I’ll try using the branded keywords. I’ve made two more sales and I’m now up to 13 using generic keywords. But again, these sales were made with 13 different query phrases that the customers typed into the search box.

How are you doing these days?
your ROI would improve greatly if you promoted something with an upsell, oto1 , oto2, etc. BTW, I heard bing has moved away from manual bidding.
