[JOURNEY] Beginner starting Aliexpress + Woocommerce to earn $2000/month.

    I decided to take the plunge and attempt this.
    What I've done so far.
    Set Up:
    I made a online store with wordpress, woocommerce, and paypal.
    Set Up a Homepage, Giveaway page, shop page.
    Giveaway has 4 Free + Shipping offers
    Shop with $10 offers.
    Shipping 9.95 throughout the store.
    Products cost around $1

    Facebook:
    I've read/watched through a lot of material on this, but not really sure which one was best. I decided with going with conversion focused. With the conversion action being Add to Cart.

    I have 3 campaigns for 3 different interests all using the same published post.
    Each campaign has 2 ad-sets each covering 8 year gap. With each ad set given $5/day.
    So in total 6 ads. ($30 daily limit) (Forgive my jargon on the terminology of ads and campaigns).

    41 Conversions
    5 page likes
    29 Post Engagements
    12 Website Clicks
    1 Sale

    My Questions.
    -FB Ad Analysis.
    As of right now my skills in analyzing my results are sub-par. I'm not sure what stats are most important to me right now. I'm also in need of general benchmarks to see if my ads are winners or losers.
    I'm not sure whats a good CPC, CPM, CTR, and other stats I should aim for.
    What I'm trying to follow for new ads.
    Cut if:
    First $3 = No social interaction, No clicks.
    First $5 = CTR (link) below .7%, No Social Interaction, No clicks.

    - For shipping, I have the option to choose between ePacket or China Post Ordinary Small Packet Plus. I know ePacket costs extra in my particular case around $2 extra. Is it worth it to reduce my profit margin to speed up shipping time?

    First Day Spent 17.70
    No other sales other than the one mentioned earlier.
    This first sale came from Interest A.

    Cut It Down to 3 Ads.
    From top to bottom.
    1st Ad = Interest A. 2nd/3rd Ad = Interest B.
    1 Sale.

    Thoughts: Happy that I got a sale., Realized that I'm still confused on how to take in these results. I know the goal is to get a low cpc, high ctr. I'm also not sure if the ads are still stabilizing, explaining the somewhat high costs. I might just cut one of these ads (most likely). Also I figured out most of the logistic problems I had earlier.

    New Questions/Problems.
    This new Sale on the 2nd day made me aware of a problem. Paypal isn't redirecting back to my website thank you page. So the pixel didn't fire. Apparently this might be a problem for people who pay without a paypal account. If anyone know of a way to track these paypal purchases with facebook pixel that would be incredibly helpful. The woocommerce struggle too real.

    Use a social media bot such as Massplanner, create accounts on Instagram, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, Tumblr and LinkedIn. Let the bot run and gain you followers and traffic to your site. It will help you in mid and long term as well with SEO.

    In early stage, it's always better to speed up the shipping time. Plus, if all your items come from different vendor, it will pose a problem with the customer if they didnt receive anything after weeks. At least with epacket, you can inform them that item A is out of stock, which is why we sent you item B first. You will get item A soon.

    I believe the $2 is worth it. Sometimes, I even pay $4 for the epacket for some of my products. You need to keep your customer happy. Earning less now is okay since they will be returning to shop happily again. No point having 100% profit margin but they dislike your site.

    Here an advice. Make use of google ads very well. It is only recently I starting to make social media for my stores. Before, I depend on google ads a lot and you know what? 200usd per month is a joke and hopefully you'll know it soon.

    Not bragging of bluffing here. I've made a store last month and 200? Not even pass a day. I am only spending around 50-100per day for ads.

    There is nothing special technique involved. No social media, no wanelo, or other sort type of msrketing. It's only google. What about niche selection? Nah. No research. Open up Aliexpress, think the product is cool, fuck it. Just do it. What we not need have some use for others.

    Little more tips, I use shopify. Maybe using open source shopping cart system is better but well. As long it is working I'm cool with it.
