That's what he said...
I've spent a lot of money on them, that's for sure. I only linked to inner pages
Hey man can post an update regarding this journey, i am eager to know how you rank after placing your pbn's.
So far I have only 8 PBN links to a single page and it paid off. My keywords jumped from #11-#14 to #3 and #4.
This was before I add 8 PBN links (According to SEMrush):
and this is a month and a half after (SEMrush takes a little while to update, I know I have more keywords than that in the top 3/10):
I have not added more links yet as I am contemplating selling the site to acquire more domains. I have other sites that are doing VERY well since I linked out from my PBNs and I might concentrate all my "fire power" to boost those sites. The downside is I know I won't sell it for what I think would be a fair price, considering all the keywords that are in the top 3 but aren't really making much because they're stuck at #2 + a featured snipped or #3.
So far August isn't really good but my site had a problem with its DNS propagation for two days and that lowered the clicks and revenue. The screenshot below is for both July & August
Good to know pbn's are still kicking, your revenue is increasing each month.
Good luck keep us updated.
Seems like PBNs work very good if you make them as you should, it just takes time for the ranks to kick in. Good luck in reaching your goal!
The results I got from only 8 links are incredible. 90% of my clients also saw a huge boost in both their rankings and revenue. They're keeping me busy with repetitive orders. I'm having a hard time focusing on my own projects because of that but I'll try to add more links in the next couple of weeks.
That's correct. You not only need good domains but also need to build them properly. Money-site quality content and adding filler articles to create relevancy are huge factors as well.
When you linked out using your pbns, did you just use exact and partial?
And has any diversification took place on your inner pages before you sent pbn links? Thanks!
Great results man! I am curious how do you acquire domains? I mean by the time I find the good expired PBN worthy domain it's already registered by someone else. On GoDaddy, I only see overpriced domains.
Mostly exact and partial match. Yes, most of the work is already done when I point these links to my money page. I use @seb_ali hand-written web 2.0's (https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/2...nt-boosted-by-200-web-2-0s-40-indexed.849809/) for naked/branded anchor. I manually comment on moderated, relevant articles, answers Q&A related to my keyword and relevant forum posts to my niche/keyword with generic/naked/branded anchors. By the time I use my PBNs, all those links above are indexed and my exact match never go over 5%
The same way @Nargil does. Actually, I think we're betting against each other most of the time. I'm about to start paying him to stop bidding against me. Jokes aside, it is what it is. Domains are overpriced now, we need to get used to it. Want a 200RD with a good link profile? Get ready to pay $400-$500. Want a 1k ++ RD with a very, very solid link profile? Get ready to pay $2000+
The fact that more and more people are trying to get their domains themselves will only continue to drive the price up. I wouldn't be surprised if in 6 months a good 200RD domains goes for $600-$700 each.
Looking forward to reading the journey. I need something like this in my life. Inspiration.
If you have any questions don't hesite to ask!
Following your journey, looks interesting soo far
Do you follow some guide for find domains?
Not necessarily. I go over 500 domains a week, bid on maybe 80 and win 3 or 4 if I'm lucky. The truth is you've got to go through a lot of shitty domains to find a couple of good ones and then accept the fact that you're probably going to overpay by a lot if you want a chance to acquire it.
Very nice Journey Post.
If you had to take a guess, how much % of your success came from your aged domain? Do you think it is possible to get this far with a brand new domain?
About 30% and yes it's possible.
good luck cant wait to see what happens!
Just finished reading this journey thread.
Amazing stuff man!
Just one question. Sorry if this is a noob question but...
I see you say things like "exact match" and "partial match" anchor text or something.
What does this mean? And how much is acceptable(you said something about only 5% exact match being okay)
I'm sorry if I confused you or anything
Let's say your keyword is "Best red widget"
Exact match would be "Best red widget" while partial match would be "The best red widget" "best red widget for wordpress" etc..
Anything below 10% is acceptable. The lower your keyword density (the number of time your keyword appear in your article), the higher your exact match % can be.
Separate names with a comma.
