So still you grow your client accounts via follow unfollow method?

Good luck!

Sales cures all!

I was just wondering if your website you built in the beginning is make you any new customers?

And what made you chose the restaurant-niche? A bit of knowhow of the industry is required to run accounts in a certain nichse, yes?

Well, great to know that after a year of hard work, you are minting $$$, but local market is not for all, it totally depends on the country you reside, Tier 1 countries have the best local market. Thinking of getting clients in tier 3 countries is just a night mare. Good luck with your journey

I realized after doing more cold calls that this business is more about relationships and meeting face to face. I figured it would be more effective if I actually went door to door - so I came up with a list of target restaurants and did exactly that. I looked up restaurants that basically had terrible Instagram marketing that could use a lot of improvement and help. When I explained to them my strategy and how it could get them more customers they bought into my idea and believed me. For the next 6 months, I got 5 customers paying me $299/mo, 1 customer paying me $199/mo - basically on average 1 customer per month.

It got easier and easier with more practice - it especially helps when you have a portfolio of happy clients to show your potential leads!

Currently I have:
$99/mo - 1 client
$199/mo - 1 client
$299/mo - 5 clients

My goal is to get to $4,000 a month by the end of 2019. Thanks BHW, pretty much been lurking on this forum and I finally took action and learned that business takes time to grow, it is not an immediate success "overnight".

I was just about to say "Why not face to face?"

good read.

First of all - congrats! I've been willing to start an IG marketing since 2017, but never actually managed to :D. One question: do you still use massfollow/likes/comments with the aged accs, does it work for accounts that already have let's say 10k followers?

Well done I'm in the same business, but I'm really scared to manage people accounts because if they get banned is a big deal

Great journey @Krypticlol very inspirational to see that you are doing so well. Seems like a service that is valuable to your clients as well. Good luck on reaching your next goal.

Please remember to use the multi-quote feature though, when replying to more than one post consecutively in this thread, as pointed out above by @Don't Panic - otherwise it makes the thread much harder to follow.

Thanks, I just learned how to use it! :)

Congratulations! My only concern is that an account that has been around for a while may get banned. What are the settings you use in Instadub to avoid that?
Here is the thing about people who are good with bots - they don't maximize settings and hit warning limits. Too often I see people here maximizing 1000 likes and 500 follows on accounts that are just opened... Think about how much time that would take a human, its absurd. Focus on long random delays, I use 60-180 seconds. I also test very small targets, like 50-100 follows per day for one particular location or hashtag. I've recently enjoyed much success by liking comments.

So still you grow your client accounts via follow unfollow method?
I do. I know this method is pretty scrutinized but the amounts I do are small, 50-100 follows and unfollows. Recently I've been liking comments or commenting on posts with spintax.

Congrats mate, looks like a lot of us are working the same thing. I hope that Instagram latest warning not stop our business
TBH I don't know when to start worrying... they can definitely detect bot activity and i'm surprised they haven't shut down a lot of us yet. How's business going for you?

Congratulations! Great job!
Thank you!

Yeah, I realize this isn't the most efficient for maximizing everything but to be honest, I don't mind it. I get something to do, free food, and sometimes land a sale.

Sales is a crucial skill.. one I wish I had developed earlier - I'm still working on it too. The website I made is pretty much my business card. It's the gateway to show them videos, client testimonials, about me, my strategies, etc.. However, I don't get much organic traffic through it - the only traffic I ever get is when I tell the manager/owner to check out my website. I chose restaurants because when I first started botting I built a food blog so that I could perhaps one day monetize it by selling posts (that didn't really work out, but i got free food!) Now it's kind of my way of doing business development.

I absolutely agree - every market is different but there is so much opportunity depending on the perspective you look at. Just go outside, look around the streets and see the businesses that could benefit from your help. They're either old people who don't know anything about social media (not worth your time) old people who know about social media and are curious (kind of worth your time) and young business owners who are up to date with technology (perfect target).

I was just about to say "Why not face to face?
Yeah I realized this type of business requires face to face.. they like to know who they're dealing with especially if its managing their business.

One question: do you still use massfollow/likes/comments with the aged accs, does it work for accounts that already have let's say 10k followers
I've got a 36k account and do follow/unfollow... it killed my engagement and i've been trying to recover it. It's been quite the challenge. This account is a personal bot account for tests.

Well done I'm in the same business, but I'm really scared to manage people accounts because if they get banned is a big deal
Don't do ridiculous likes/follows/comments and you'll be fine I do 50-100 follows/day and 200-300 likes/day with 60-180 sec delays.

Congratulation, mate! Thanks for sharing your journey motivate me to not give up.. Always try to find a way in something we had invest so much time and money
Thanks!! Hope your business is going well too.

You could do more than 100 a day and still be safe, just letting you know .

To be honest I can't believe it... but it's been a year since I've decided to put a lot of time and effort into my business after just sitting around with just 1 client that was only paying me $100 per month. Today I got one more client and I just had to share as it's about 1 year since I started and I am super excited!!! Please excuse the grammar as I will probably writing light speed.. I will try to piece together the whole story as best I can.

Backstory on me:
I graduated from business school in 2017 and got a full-time job which I really did not love - while I can manage the 9-5 I knew this was something I would dread. I anticipated this before graduation and searched online for different methods which can provide income - I found blackhatworld. Automation services were quite appealing to me as they provided me with unlimited freedom and flexibility to operate as a small team as opposed to one single person even while I work full time.

How I did it:
My business uses Instadub automation to manage and grow Instagram accounts for restaurants. My strategy would be to follow and unfollow, like, and comment to grow their page. I would also get influencers to come into the restaurant as well. Things were looking great and the set up was quite easy.

I set up a Wordpress website with Namecheap that offered three tiers:
  1. Standard: $99/mo
  2. Plus: $199/mo
  3. Supreme: $299/mo
Finally, after getting everything to work with stripe + gravity forms I was ready to make money!! Except... no one visited my website. In fact literally, I was the ONLY visitor to my website. The first client I got 3 months later was through a friend who had told his manager that I grow Instagram accounts. What a horrible performance, just 1 client after 3 months! I was disappointed, but they were paying me $99 per month. I realized I needed to actually sell to restaurants and not just sit idle waiting for them to magically find my site. The problem is that I am not good at selling or great at face to face communication.

So what did I do? I hired someone on Fiverr for $180 to cold call restaurants on Yelp. The result? 0 conversions. Money was wasted. At this point I was really discouraged, 3 months in and only 1 customer was paying me $99 per month - this was not worth the time I put into building everything! I did one last thing before giving up, that is paying someone to set up Facebook ads which I spent a total of $250. This was also wasted.. 0 conversions. I stopped for 3 months and gave up. Total money wasted: $470. Ouch.

The turning point:
In that 3 months of me working my 9-5, I gained a lot of experience talking with clients (I am a consultant). I realized the same kind of conversation was happening over and over again and it really boils down to this: "What business problems are you experiencing?" and the response was "Oh, here's how I can help" That is the nature of consulting after all, and so when I realized this I applied this to my business and IT WORKED.

I started off with cold calling businesses. After about 30 calls (I can't remember how many exactly) I landed a meeting with the owner of a restaurant that agreed to a $299/mo deal!

Congrats for your journey.
