    I am starting another INSTAGRAM journey.

    First off, don't ask me any questions -- cause I don't have the answers to them myself. :D

    How many accounts? I don't know.

    What niche? Beats me.

    How am I going to monetize? Not a clue.

    And yet here I am. Trying to establish a goal, reach it, and I don't even know where to begin. It's like going on a journey in a jungle without a map, no clues what creatures lie in the dark, and whether or not there's food to eat.

    EXACTLY! And that's the beauty of this journey.

    As far as Instagram goes, I'm a blank slate. If you're following this, expect to see the weirdest and the dumbest ideas and efforts to be done, but occasionally, I might have some strokes of genius as well.

    I'll try everything there is to try. I'll get inside every niche where my interest lies. Monetize using all possible ways. And the best part? I don't even know where all of it will lead me! :)

    If you can't be excited by that, I'm not sure what will.

    1.) GOALS
    I don't have an earnings goal simply because money comes and goes. My goal lies in the very process that produces the income.

    So my goal is to establish systems -- for all the niches I will involve myself into.

    In order for a system to be proved effective, it should cross a few lines from my handy-dandy measuring stick:
    a.) Monthly Revenue - The system should be able to produce a minimum of $100 in a month. Anything less than that (even a penny!), then it won't even be considered a system yet.
    b.) Well-recorded and carefully analyzed timeline in which the system will be most effective -- Look, some niches are seasonal. And I'm pretty sure hundreds, if not thousands, of IMers earned big moolah in the past NBA Season (probably just off of the 7 straight games between Cavs and Warriors). If a niche is seasonal, then so is the system that revolves around it will be.
    c.) Well-planned daily routine that the system will follow (plus any other EVENTUAL recurring tasks)

    2.) CURRENT
    So... what everybody is probably waiting for. What are my current stats? Number of followers? IG posts.

    Truly, I've worked my ass off, literally. You could say that I've been twerking non-stop for the past year.

    And I'm very proud of where I've gotten from where I started.

    So here it goes...

    A few months back, I started an IG account. I won't say the niche because it's a secret. A very, very, very deep secret. Anyways, that account has been growing everyday.

    Stats:
    Followers -- 134
    Posts -- 1
    Engagement -- 30 likes on that said single post

    And yeah, I've just been twerking for this past year. I follow/unfollow whenever I feel like doing so. When I feel lazy, I just eat ice cream and play Skyrim and I just totally forget about my IG. It's like magic

    3.) NEXT TASKS

    The not so exciting part. But hey, we're human beings. Our brains are designed to seek comfort. NOBODY wants the grunt work. Sometimes, I even wish there's a way I could enjoy the taste of food, have it nourish my body, without having the need to chew and swallow. I have my lazy days.

    But jokes aside. Here's the part where I will lay down the tasks I have for the day. Before that though, I'll make a prototype. But I'm a dumbo when it comes to techy stuff so not what you're thinking about.

    A prototype system depending on my current level of knowledge. Something I THINK (read: Dumb assumptions) will work and will bring in the moolah.

    And that's where my tasks will be derived from.

    So How Often Am I Going to Update This Thread?
    Daily, probably more than once a day. See, I'm training myself to write.

    Don't get me wrong. I CAN write. In fact, that's my profession. But I'm training myself to write for MY AMUSEMENT, not a client's.

    When you've spent years writing things so that clients would love it, you'll find it especially hard to begin writing again, like a child, without any colors. Just pure personality.

    WITHOUT FURTHER ADO... LET THE IG GAMES BEGIN! :)

    Thanks man! Oh, and just now, I was tempted to edit the whole thread and just post the shorter version. But that might put me in trouble with the "Thread Length" police so... :/

    It's nice to see you have ambition and you take action, but you'll need A LOT of hard work to make this happen.
    Hope you'll make it, will be following you!

    DAY 1:
    Decisions....

    So the goal is to first establish a prototype system... but what about?

    MONETIZING = Definitely out of the question... for now at least. I'm planning on reaching a certain number of followers first before trying anything I can sink my teeth into.

    FOLLOWERS = The always and forever will be #1 stat to grow for IMers in the IGMoolah jungle.

    ENGAGEMENT = The #2 most important, arguably. Some say that this is the most important. But hey, I don't want to pick my brain (too lazy to argue with myself).

    Based on my 10-minute research, one could gain more followers by:
    1. Posting high-quality and relevant content (the lamest yet the truest way).
    2. Following people and unfollowing them afterwards (whether or not they follow you back).
    3. Engage on other people's posts. Write useful comments, like pictures, and gain followers through exposure.

    Engagement increases by:
    1. Posting high-quality and relevant content (the lamest yet the truest way).
    2. Communicate with others on other people's posts (then they'll go to your account, see your posts, and leave comments / like them as well).

    Let's set the bar -- 1,000 followers within 2 weeks.

    System:
    GAINING FOLLOWERS
    (Daily posting -- 3x/day)
    (Follow people 150 to 200/day) --> after 3 days (Unfollow people until there's 0 following. 200 max per day) --> Repeat
    (Useful and non-promotional comments on 10 target accounts) --> 1st, 2nd and 3rd day THEN (Useful comments but slightly promoting my account on 10 target accounts) 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th day

    ENGAGEMENT
    (Posts will include a question, or a light ask for a comment)
    (Answer questions, compliment, or just voice out opinion on posts with high engagement, 10x/day)

    Okay, so that's going to be my daily tasks for the next 2 weeks. Again that's...
    Follow 150-200/day
    Unfollow every 3 days (until there's 0) -- 200 max unfollows per day
    20 comments per day
    LIKES: Just genuinely like any *likeable* photos I come across

    Hopefully, this will produce 1,000 followers. If yes, then I'll begin thinking about monetization. If not, then it's TWEAKING time.

    Additional tasks:
    1. Research sources for photos to post.
    2. Research copyright issues for images as it applies to IG.
    3. Criteria for people to follow.
    4. Target accounts in the same niche (preferably with followers of about 100k-200k max).

    CURRENT STATS:
    Posts = 1
    Followers = 174
    Following = 82
    Engagement = 206 likes

    P.S.: I don't have the email credentials for this account anymore and I may be doomed but if that happens, it'll be funny as hell.

    What bots will you be using? Or will it be manual?

    For now, I'm automating the following and unfollowing through MassPlanner (I'm still hoping I could get a license of GramDominator). At least until I was able to sit down and narrow down the criteria I'll set for the people I'll follow, I will automate this part.

    But the original plan is to go manual for at least until I hit 3,000 to 5,000 followers. Still confused about the number.

    Yeah, but everything else is manual at the moment.

    DAY 1 (Results and Rants):

    Not good. I was planning on doing everything I've listed. The only thing accomplished so far is the following part.

    I got a bit confused with posting on Instagram from my desktop. Good thing I found DeskGram. Very crappy but gets the posting the job done.

    Comments, will do that later. Likes as well. Before I hit the sack, most likely.

    Tasks for Day 2:
    Well, I'm not officially done with day 1 and instead of making 3 posts, I was only able to do 1. Comments and likes before I sleep.

    So I'm kind of wondering whether I will JUST focus on gaining followers for now (at least until I hit 2,000) or start building a list. See, I bought a software called Sinfiltrator and I think I might be able to make use of it.

    What it does is it kind of hijacks a specific page, makes a clone of it, and lets you put your marketing message on it. Pop-up boxes, pop-up videos, footers, that sort of thing.

    I'm not planning on monetizing yet although that could be a good idea, but I'm planning on building a list of emails for my chosen niche. I don't know. Still an idea. Will have to really plan it out first and test.

    Anyway... tasks for day 2 would be --
    *Daily tasks (This time, making sure everything will be followed)
    *I really have to sit down and think about the people I'm going to follow manually. It's a bit of waste to follow IMers disguised as IGers, don't you think?
    *Study IG navigation both on mobile and desktop. It's my first time using this damn app and it's already giving me a huge headache.
    *Research and list down sources for photos to post. I'm in a niche I'm very interested at but I'm very stupid about. So I need some high-quality sources.
    *Who to comment to (later, I'll just do it randomly, practicing giving useful comments)

    Awesome day. A little bit not awesome though.

    First thing -- I didn't do anything. No follows, no uploads, no comments, no likes. NOT AWESOME

    BUT... The very awesome parts:
    1. I got a free license for GramDominator
    2. I became a part of a Skype group with some really awesome people. We talk about perverted stuff and me likey! (just kidding)
    3. I sat down for an hour, formulated a strategy good for at least the next 6 months, and have begun implementing it.

    And now... I am all over the place.

    I know I shouldn't be but I'm really envious. The people in the Skype group have already begun earning. And I'm really happy for them really. But I can't help but feel a little bit jealous. It's really not about the money but more about the accomplishment.

    But yeah, early days.

    So I'm planning on doing a total of 6 accounts, on totally different niches.

    All of these will be grown into at least 1,000 followers before we start experimenting with different monetization strategies. I'll tell you more about my money-making ideas by the time we get winning accounts.

    Current resources:
    1. Sim cards (for account creation)
    2. 20 private proxies
    3. GramDominator license

    Tasks for the day:
    1. Study GD
    2. Create accounts
    3. Download photos for the niches
    4. 3 posts for each account

    CURRENT STATS:
    (Followers/Following)
    Account 1 - 194/437
    Account 2 - N/A
    Account 3 - N/A
    Account 4 - N/A
    Account 5 - N/A
    Account 6 - N/A

    TOTAL EARNINGS: A big load of horseshit

    Mini-update (rambling thoughts):
    So links doesn't work on the IG jungle. And it seems the only way to go is by posting a link on your bio.

    Which, as it seems, is kind of risky. I see people saying that this is a red flag and would most likely lead to a ban.

    Definitely a no-no for accounts that haven't aged much yet. But I think I might have a solution. We'll see.

    Haven't created the other accounts yet. My time's really packed right now but I'm able to set aside an hour right now to create those accounts.

    It is the end of the world for me... My soul is scorched, my balls shrunk, and I can feel my butthole closing.

    My Twitter account got blocked and I lost the sim card for it. That's it. I'm done. I'm quitting... or not?

    Jokes aside, my *adult* Twitter account just got blocked. Nothing too grand. 800+ followers, total earnings of $19.65 in a span of 6 months (don't ask me, I'm a slow starter, albeit, very very very slow).

    Worked on it "on and off" so there's that.

    Not sure how to recover it but will give it a gander.

    Anyhoo... moving on to IG.

    Was just about to create my new totally legit fake accounts when my proxies decided to fark up. Contacted provider and waiting for response.

    First account's doing super though. Followers growing by the day, nice engagement, but still drawing blanks as far as monetizing goes.

    So I'm in this Skype group with a lot of goo-roos but only a few you can really talk to. Apparently, if you don't brag about the amount of moolah you earn daily, they won't speak to you. (But there are some which have been really farking awesome! Like... 3 ppl, I guess?)

    So I decided to not give a deym, mind my own biznaz.

    P.S.: If anybody needs modafinil, let me know. Not my product. But I know a guy who knows a guy. You know? Cheap prices, fast delivery, awesome seller.

    Okay... now I can put my mind to rest.

    I've gotten hold of a possible way to monetize. Thanks to this thread -- http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/instagram-and-cpa-journey-to-10-day.858630/

    So I've just created accounts, one for each niche I'm targeting. Here they are:
    1. Hot women
    2. Pets
    3. Nature photography
    4. Lifehacks

    Will start posting and doing follow/unfollow today.

    Stats update tomorrow.

    Meh.

    I've been stagnant on IG these past few days, no consistency whatsoever when it comes to the things I should've been doing.

    No posts. No *personalized* comments.

    But the accounts have been running auto on MassPlanner, following and unfollowing, liking and commenting (generic).

    Today, I decided to get back and hammer out some posts.

    =================

    So there'll be a 2 part goal that I want to reach this time:
    1.) Establish authority accounts that will focus on GETTING FOLLOWERS.
    2.) Create many accounts that will focus on MONETIZATION.

    After this quick update, I'll begin creating the accounts for #2.

    Let's do a reset. Inspired by another thread I'm following, here's the stats update as of today:

    Full throttle.

    Much has been going on in the past few days and it's taking too much of my time.

    Now, everything's calmer. So I will finally be able to focus on this side campaign. Going to do a total revamp.

    ====================

    Earlier, I tried creating some IG accounts, phone verified, with proxies.

    I'm encountering a wall. IG asks for verif code but never sending one on my number. So I decided to give it a rest and just try again later.

    ====================

    REVAMP

    Goal:
    $50/day through CPA offers

    Tool:
    GramDominator (exclusively)

    ====================

    Okay... GD (GramDominator) is at its very early stages. Really crappy at the moment. So why am I choosing to use it instead of MassPlanner?

    The culture.

    The people behind are just hungry to improve their tools and you can feel their intensity. Working round-the-clock and you won't have to wait for a long time for them to provide support. Within 5mins., you'll get an update and if it's something they can add to their tools, they will.

    This journey ends ONLY ONCE I've seen an earning of at least $50/day for 7 consecutive days.

    ====================

    Today marks DAY 1 (again)...

    Tasks:
    - Study GD intensively
    - Collect all accounts and document them (details, logins, proxies associated, etc.)
    - Create 5-10 new accounts
    - Load accounts on GD
    - Automate account actions

    Thanks man! And I will continue testing GD as long as it is moving forward towards something better. And of course, it does. It's so intense sometimes and I feel like I have to be careful throwing things at the wall cause whenever I do, all the devs get to work.

    This journey has been reset a lot of times.

    But I promise, this will be the last.

    For the past week, I had some serious problems with my ISP. No connection for the entire week and even my main business was affected.

    And so I'm back.

    IG also seemed to take it easier on me this time, now allowing me to verify my accounts. Awesome.

    ===================

    Proposed some changes on GD and I've got a few more lined up. For now, still waiting for the new features to be implemented before I begin throwing things at them again.

    ===================

    Decided to monetize, so I've put links on my accounts -- now decided NOT to monetize and grow first at least until I reach 2k followers. This time, I'm not changing my mind again.

    ===================

    Current account stats:

    http://prnt.sc/byuvp5

    (Yes, I haven't been working on them a lot. My bad.)

    I was wondering. I thought the hot girls niche should be the one who would see massive growth. But the nature photography account and the pets account easily shoot past it. With only a small number of posts.

    Hmm...

    Looks like I've got to rethink my follow sources.

    ======================

    These 4 accounts will be my main ones and I plan to grow them into a huge following, churn out high quality posts and such. But I will create about 15 crash-and-burn accounts. Links in the bio (still not sure which offer I'm going to promote), high quality posts as well, and following/unfollowing to the limits. Should be a good testing ground.

    ======================
