No food for 5 days...

Goal : weight loss, autophagy to repair ligaments and other body parts. Total body reset, enhanced focus and discipline.

I’ve done multiple long fasts before, but haven’t done a 5 day in a while.

Will continue to work on my business and other ventures throughout the journey.

Time Fasted : 8 minutes, 32 seconds.

I prefer eating healthy meals and doing cardiovascular workouts when I want to lose weight.

Going to gym also helps a lot with gaining focus, discipline and energy.

I do as well, I have a pretty intense powerlifting routine which consists of all out full body workouts every 72 hours focusing on 5 rep maxes for sets of 5-6 for each body part except for legs which is the next day. its a mix of bodybuilding / powerlifting.

I'm doing this to cut fat off with minimal muscle loss, as well as the other health benefits.
I've put on a lot of muscle and want to remove fat to make room for more muscle so i dont stretch out my skin.

Thanks my friend! My longest one was 7 days a while back, ive been fasting for years but its been a while since ive done a 5 day.

Good for you.

I highly recommend homemade bone broth and coconut oil as the way you break your fast.

Very healing for your gut health and intestines.

More importantly, keep your insulin down. Unless you are an athlete, you dont need a lot of carbs.

Fat is best fuel.

Don't eat: sugar, gluten, seed oils, plant toxins, dairy (unless raw milk)

Do eat: steak, eggs, fish, chicken, home made bone broth, raw grassfed butter, coconut oil, avocado, and some fruit once insulin is reset.

Keep taking on a ton of water. Summer is here and you'll need it mate.
 
I've done OMAD a few times for a couple of week stretches. Not sure if I could do 5 days... sounds pretty extreme!
 
I’ve passed the 24 hour mark.

Hunger has gone down and I feel great. Can’t wait for day 5 so I can eat a big juicy burger :)

Been making web automation bots for hours.

Just done 30 hours lately, after a couple days of intermittent fasting. I'm thinking of doing another run, felt physically amazing!

I'll either put cycling in my routine or go for yet another fast
