Why is that crazy? In the last bull market it performed badly compared to the previous bull cycle, it's on a downward trend by the looks of it. So you'd expect people who are clued up to avoid it.

Lol who cares they are working on the mainnet for 7 years? There are tonnes of projects where people having been working on it for years and getting nowhere from a price point of view! Just remember 99% of these projects are garbage and will go nowhere. People are speculating and while that is going on prices will go up and during that phase it is possible to jump in, make a profit and exit the scene.
