    Hi BHW.

First of all I'm not just any newbie browsing this forum. Been lurking since 2008, and finally decided to make a journey thread to keep myself on track and also to spank myself in the butt when I need it.

[The following is boring crap about introducing myself. Skip below to read about how I will go on and achieve this target.]

I am a 16 year old kid and pursing a diploma in Banking. Been lurking since 2008, and I can say that I have benefited a whole deal from this forum. Been trying out IM since when I was 14, and even got into trouble in school because of it for hawking "how to make millions online" books. Lol. I'm DEAD lazy and thus the need to create this thread to keep myself on track to achieve what I set out to do.

    [Methods]

Method A: Getting conversions on CJ for Hosting and for jobsites.

This method involves getting people to sign up for sites like Odesk and Elance through your affiliate link. I believe this method have been posted elsewhere already, but would still trace it out, coupled with my own twist.

    -Original Method-

    1. Get leads from local people looking for a job. Would post on classified sites, and also from my own network of friends looking for jobs.

    2. get them to sign up for Odesk using my affiliate link, as a hirer/client

At this stage if they sign up and get their payment method verified you get $50.

3.Get them to sign up at Elance as a contractor/worker (aka people looking for work)

    4. Give them a ebook teaching them how to bid for jobs high on Elance and subcontract them to Odesk at a significantly lower price.

    Now with my own twist:

Get them to sign up for a hosting account, and then have another ebook teaching them how to set up a basic payment page. Direct them to Warriorforum to post a BST providing services and outsource them on Odesk.

By getting them to sign up for hosting account you increase the peofir per lead from $50 to $150.

Now to increase that some more, I twist how I advertise.

I am going to advertise in the form of selling a 'successful' business.people would be able to take over this business for a "bargain" of $300 (feel free to edit this amount to whatever you want, but I'm sticking with $300.)

Thus using this method I could easily net $450 per customer.

I will advertise using the above said method in the local classifieds, and post my results below.

Net earnings from this so far: $100. [2 conversions on Odesk signups from friends.]

    [Method 2]

Method chosen: Ody777: I made $132 today. Go search it on the Make Money section.

Twists: I will pitch this to both local and overseas businesses. I have gotten someone to get me "qualified" emails, and so far have 100 of them.

When I mean "qualified" emails, I mean websites with no mobile version, that are advertising on google adwords.

Remember: "Those who advertise, will pay to advertise." As such, people who pay for AdWords will most probably buy the sites.

I will pitch the sites for US$97 each. I will also start sending personalised emails tomorrow.

Earnings so far for Method 2: A big fat $0. But that's about to change.

    Wish me luck.

I've tried Method 2 with about 150 Manually chosen e-mail (Targeted) , sent a quality e-mail (i'm good at making these) to every one of them using a paid email sender , waiting for 4 days now , still nothing ... 00.00$ , 3 replied thought , they said that they're not interested ...
Anyway , i'm gonna keep my eyes on this thread , i hope that you do better , maybe i was missing something :( .
PS: i was targeting French Business owners .

    4/9 Wild thoughts about method:

Leads on CJ are running out. Maybe it's time to run ads on paid classifieds. Classifieds on the main state media in my country (Singapore) is on the Straits Times, with a classifieds of 3cms x 1 column priced at S$53/ US$40. Maybe I can post ads on 2 different sections. (On both Jobs and BizOpp sections.) Would Craigslist advertising also work? hmm.

Top priority of this week would be to procure cash-flow through direct PayPal from selling mobile sites. Time to ramp up on the mailing. Mailing 20 emails a day is obviously slacking off.

EDIT: I have ran out of thanks for this thread alone. Will thank the others who did post here in other threads if I do see them. Thanks for all the support!

Maybe your pitch was not that good? Did you put in your emails the benefits of such mobile sites? When I finish mailings of my first 100 I will put a generic template of my emails to share. I think with the correct pitch I could push crazy numbers of these. Most businesses wouldn't think of dropping $500 for these websites IMO. We just have to pitch them right.

Thanks I have already tried method 2. Sent 200 qualified emails no success only one of them replied saying pi** off. So I guess it is not working for anyone.

Have a question about Odesk thing. How do you get people to sign up on Odesk as Employers when they are actually looking for jobs? Also does Odesk pay the commission only on payment verification. I thought it was when they post their first project.

    Hi there!

I think the most important reason why people actually fail when sending these emails is that either:

i: they did not identify their prospects properly

Prospects should have a working full-sized web-page, and no working mobile site. They must also have been paying for any form of advertising, be it AdWords or anything else.
ii: The pitch was not good enough

You did not point out how good such a website could benefit them. Talk not about the site, but how the site can benefit their business, and ultimately, increase SALES for them. Talk in their language, not yours. It is only when you can relate to them then can you go on and clinch the sale.

iii: You did not reach the correct person.

Ore often than not emails on websites do not goes to someone of authority. So target SMEs, and emails with specific names, as these could go to people holding the checkbooks, and thus easier to get sales.

Emails of this could be something like
"dave[aaat] just an idiotic email.com" rather than
    "support[aaat]just an idiotic email.com"

    ---

You sign up on Commission Junction, and get your affiliate links from Odesk and JustHost. At least I'm promoting these two offers.

Odesk converts in a way that a person has to sign up, post a job, and verify their payment method. From my tests as soon as you verify your payment method you will get the conversion. But do take note that there might be a delay when you get the conversion.

Payment method verification is actually pretty simple. Cause it is of no cost to the potential lead. So always push to earn this $50 first. Doesn't matter if they don't want to spend the $3.95 on hosting and the $20 to post a Warrior for hire thread. Gram the $50 and get them to arbitrage from Elance.

    Hope that makes it clear.

Thanks for answer mate. I think you did not answer the question. You said you are targetting people who are looking for jobs in classified sites. So how do you get those job seekers to sign up as an Employer rather than worker on Odesk.

    Hi Ahmar.

I was not aware of that. But anyway, back to your question.

Tell them that this is an arbitrage, and that they are actually working for themselves and not for you. Assure them that this will actually make them money. Promise them the jargon: Health, wealth, pussies. Then tell them that to achieve all of that crap, they will have to follow what you say. Then direct them to Odesk and sign up as an employer. Explain the whole concept to then before you get them to sign up.

    Hope that answers your question.

I really appreciate your answers mate. One final question. What methods do you use to drive traffic to Odesk links classified ads etc? And what do you recommend is the best way which converts best in terms of traffic.
