    WARNING: Wall of text!

    Hey guys,

I'm bnsly and this is my journal thread and i'll be updating it occasionally if I have the time to. The reason I created this thread was to track my own progress and for to (hopefully) help other newbies like myself. I called it journal-ish because I won't be posting all the time, maybe 2-3 times a week. I sort of have school but I usually have 2-3 hours of extra time to commit to whatever I please.

P.s. : You don't have to read this part below, if your bored by all means go ahead

So about me and how I started to get interested in money making and internet marketing, I first started in middle school because I had real high exposure to the internet. I spent most of my time on there, well after homework and work was finished of course. It all begin with a well known site "1ockerz". 1ockerz was basically a website where you would log in daily and get points for watching videos and answering questions, you would then redeem these points for great prizes. I was super hyped about getting the Ipod touch. I found out about 1ockerz through Youtube and through that I also found 1ockerz "Hacks". I knew these were obviously fake, but I couldn't believe how many people fell for it. These "hacks" would say sign up to my cracked link and you'll get XXXX number of points credited into your account. That link would just be a regular link that would give them nothing, however it would give the sender of the link points which he or she good use to redeem stuff. Later, I decided to create my own hack using simple editing and firebug to change my points value. The plan went so well, simple promoting methods shot up my view count and ratings,( I told them rating makes the hack work!). In a week I was getting 20 PMs a day just for invitations and the view count was at 3000. Unfortunately, I was getting lazy and they found out I was lying to get ref's so I was banned.
This next part I will try to make short because that previous part was probably my only success in anything i've done thus making it long and detailed. Through exploiting 1ockerz users, I found a forum. That forum was about making money, not big money, but pure pocket change. Sites like GPT's PTC's and stuff. I had did use GPT sites for a while, but quit because it was tedious work and I really hate just going about through surveys and half the time not even receiving the cash. Very long story short, I went through a large string of forums about making money until I heard about BHW, a place where people made big bucks for creating websites. I knew I had to be a part. I actually dreaded SEO because of how difficult it seemed, and now I'm going to try it.

    About what i'm doing,

At the moment, I have no investment cash. I am pretty much broke. I have no scrapebox or Xrumer. If you read the second part about my previous journey, you would know I was in middle school during my "1ockerz" phase. 1ockerz wasn't released a long time ago. Anyways, what i'll be using is mostly free stuff that have been graciously provided by the great members of BHW. I will link the thread and download link to everything I use from BHW. Since I don't have the cash for any top level domain, I'll probably end up using a blogger subdomain or wordpress,(Unless someone wants to donate me one :p heheh). I'll try to post every couple of days or so. I'll probably stop when I'm making good cash like $10-20/day for me. I'll start today which is the 27th of August.

    Day 1-?
    -------------------------------------------------
I'll fill this in when I complete my first task which is Keyword research and niche finding. I have no idea how to do this so, it might take a while!

Also I appreciate any help since I am just starting this whole SEO. Just PM me if you would like to give some good tips or threads that would really help or maybe some good old motivation, whatever you would like to do, I would really appreciate it.

If you're really committed over the next year, I believe there are a few well-known hosts that are offering free hosting + domain for first year.. after that is usually no obligation
There have been a few threads on BHW about this the last couple of days ago.. try a search of the forums for 'free hosting and domain' or 'free hosting first year'

Keyword research + niche finding.. Try a market samurai trial to get this part accomplished.. what you need to contribute though is a keyword to start.. If you find something that looks worthwhile (probably something with 3-4 words), post it here with the analytics (SEOC, etc - you'll know what I mean if you install it) and maybe someone can help you out with competition analysis (you can also look at the marketing samurai guide for what these acronyms and their values mean).. I would also pop the keyword you are interested in, into a top 10 rank checker so you can take a look at your competition's PR (anything over 5 is usually not good unless its a wiki or something)and # of back links.

Thanks a bunch Wild, I've been in BHW for a while now and lately i've found a kind member offering free hosting with stats that are perfect for what i'm doing. I'll post a link to that thread later on when the time comes that i'll need it. I've already started looking for a niche and plan on using market samurai and traffic tavis. Thanks for reading my thread and stuff, I thought my thread was going to be empty haha!

    Hope you make it!

I'm currently trying to get to #1 in a niche that is moderately competitive. Its tough at times, but I'm hoping its going to pay off in the end!

Ok well since it's the weekend I can post a bit more often than usual. I have an idea for a keyword but i'm not sure if its a keyword that's worth making a site over.

    Pic of stats here.
    Code:
    hxxp://imgur.com/AjpaY
srry bout that, can't post links yet. remove xx in hxxp and put in tt.

The keyword is basically reviews of a certain type of apparel. It's a three word keyword. The ones I outlined are really the same keyword but, the second word in it has an extra s. They look like they have real low competition so I need your word on it guys. Is it good? If not can anybody tell me a range that is good incl. searches, cpc, etc.

It's hard to say without actual details of your competitors.

    Here's how to find out:
Download Market Samurai from this forum.
    Install it.
Enter your keyword in Market Samurai and SEO Competitors.
Make a screenshot of your competitors (without their links, just their details about backlinks and such).
Post it here so we can judge.

The keyword itself looks great. It's a micro niche with a high CPC, low traffic. It won't be the $10 a day you're looking for, but it's a good start :).

Also make sure to check if the exact domain is not taken

Ok guys I was told that my previous kw was kind of hard to rank for. However I believe I just found a rankable keyword and can probably get my way up into 1st place!

The keyword is in the health niche, benefits of a certain food. The stats are here:

I think that's a great keyword. I would use traffic travis's SEO analysis to confirm if competition is high or not (not very familiar with MS).

Market Samurai has always been way better than TT.

Looks like a good keyword. By the looks of it it may take some time to outrank those, but it is a good keyword if you take the time to get over 100 PR1+++ links and you may outrank them then. Good luck!

Thanks for everything. I haven't been active because of school. I have some really annoying teachers who love to pile homework on me. Anyways, What i've been doing recently is finding another keyword instead of my other one. It's a good keyword but has no exact match domain. I'm looking at the domain ideas and most of them just add an E to the front. I can grab an emd using the .info OR I can use the .com with the E added on. I scraped some money together from my old GPT site endeavors and asked the admin politely to give my a Godaddy GC. So would it be better for me to get the .info EMD or the added on e?

Also if it helps, none of the .org,com, or net emd's are on the first page..

Personally I would go with the .info, I know people are going to argue with me here, but I'm not 100% sure if the e added on makes that much of a difference in the overall scheme of things.

Hmmm. Well I was told .info is bad in the long run but I also heard that .info is the same thing as .com... I guess I can go with the .info. But I'd love any other opinions on this.

why risk it? since its ur first just go with a blogger that way u have the benefit of an aged domain and later on u can even scrapebox blast it. Good luck to you :)

EDIT: btw currently my keyword im trying to rank for has a hubpage #1 ranked, that should give u a hint ;)

I would go with .com. The thing is that you save money for the first year, after that it costs the same as .com but it will cost you much more to rank it.

    Day 7? Whatever I don't really remember:

The keyword fiasco has been sorted out, the keyword is fine. I plan on using a guy on a fiverr clone website to build my links.

I've set up my website finally. Bought an EMD .info domain. I bet you all think i'm stupid. I really don't care. I picked it up for a buck and maybe i'll turn this into a little case study :).Anyways I published my first article. Any idea when I should apply for Adsense and When I should start building links?

    What i've used so far:

    for the FREE hosting:
    Code:
    hxxp://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/web-hosting/342049-freebie-1-unlimited-hosting-account-1-member.html
    for the domain:
    Code:
    hxxp://www.godaddy.com
They're running a special 49cents for a .info. I still have enough for a .com in case .info doesn't work out. I really want to start now so, yeah.

Well , here comes some more text and most likely some updates. I know around here that there are hundreds of abandoned Journal threads and frankly I can see why. You create a thread expecting the best, money pouring in after a few days. It doesn't happen and well you abandon posting because what's the point?People would only find success stories interesting is what I think. Who would want to read a daily failure to bum them out? That was my main reason of ignoring this thread's existence and neglecting to post on it.

Anyways, no I have not hit huge success (yet?). Yeah I still have a site and yeah i'm still working on it. SEO is more confusing than it actually sounds. It's defintely not what I thought it was. I've worked hard enough to rank it to #6 on google and only hope to rank it up. Some main things that i've learned from my experience with it is that you can't always expect ranks or money to come fast. For the first couple of weeks I was no where, literally, not even in top 1000. Indexed, but not ranked for literally 2 weeks. I nearly gave up(my first experience with SEO i'm also impatient as heck :p ), but later I looked up my keyword and bam, first page. I continued to work and now its #6. I'm trying to get it higher and higher and maybe sometime it will be #1. Patience is important for this and i'm extremely impatient so SEO isn't my strong suit even though i still enjoy doing it. Because of SEO requiring time, I've widened my stategies to make money. BHW is full of methods that work if properly executed. I'm doing the torrent method and it's earning me like 2 dollars a day LOL, autopilot. Just gotta put those comments down and done :). I've also been investing my time into fiverr, which is a great place because i'm on my first day and have made 8 bucks. I know there are better places to sell my stuff like here, but quite honestly, my gig is not really worthy for BST. It's a sub-par service and I doubt it will even get accepted. I just sell edu links and have newbie buyers. So yeah, I make around 10 dollars a day now. Is my journal complete ? No, i don't think so. I believe my goal is $20 a day. I'm almost there, just some more fiverr feedback and i'll be earning huge amounts of cash!

Letting you know guys, I got to 10 dollars a day all free . Programs and methods and domains. Well excluding my adsense site since it's not making any considerable cash. Bhw is a great place, i got it all from here.

I'll continue this thread most likely, until i make 20 bucks a day. But the updates aren't gonna be frequent. My next post will probably be when i make 20 dollars a day. Lol.

EDIT: Lol i'm stupid it is actually 10 dollars a day. BUT! It is 10 dollars a day with adsense, so that has yet to be achieved. I will continue.
