Hi guys! I'm really excited to start this journal. Let me start off by introducing myself, my name is Mike and i'm 15 years old. Im starting this journal to keep me motivated and on task. I'm going to update this daily with my work and progress. Comments/critiques/questions welcome. Wish me luck guys!

June 2nd

Today: $0.00, 0 Clicks, 0 Conversions.

Made 5 Youtube videos and sent Vagex and Enhanced views to them for my niche.
Picked very targeted keywords to rank them in Google.
Pinned videos on Pinterest
Tweeted pins
Shared videos on G+ and FB

I also talked to advertising company about a media buy.

Total work: 3 hours. Now im off to some family BBQ's have a good day everyone! :)

Note: I paintballed all day so I got barley anything done.

Sent 10k vagex and enhanced views to all four videos
Built backlinks

I'm making four more videos tomorrow and redoing everything. They should rank in google within 10 days
 
Enzine and other article sites I fill a 500+ word articles with related keywords and also social networks (pinterest,g+,Facebook,twitter)

Edit: the backlinks are for my landing page

Although Vagex will help in the beginning you'll have a hard job getting to the top of the search results with it because videos in the system are only watched for 15 seconds which is bad because Youtube rankings rely heavily on audience retention.
 
I don't rely solely on vagex I mix vagex and enhanced views I'm ranking 1 for my keywords as of this morning before school

I made 4 new videos and sent vagex and enhanced views to them wrote everything with the keywords to help rank in google
Pinned and uploaded each to social network sites
Wrote articles for each keyword

Total workload: 5 hours

I hope to have my 8 videos ranked in big G by the 15th or before.
Making 4 new videos every 3 days. 5 bucks per video per day ill be happy :) like having my own tiny micro niche sites.

Summer starts this week for me so ill have alot more time to optimize my campaigns

June 6th

0 Clicks,0 convovs, $4.00 :/

I took down my latest four videos to focus on my first 4. 1 one them is ranking on the second page of google, while all the others are past the 10th page. I continue to send views and comments to them but nothing seems to work. I even pinged them and meta submitted them. I guess its just age of the video. Not sure what to do at this point, i guess just rinse and repeat.

Edit: did a gig on fiverr

Don't get discouraged! Keep working! Pretend each day was the first day of your internet marketing campaign! Just because you aren't earning anything today, or tomorrow, or all next week doesn't mean you'll never earn anything! Keep up the great work, and have trust in yourself and you'll go really far!

I look forward to following this thread and watching your success!
