Hi BHW,tomorrow im launching my first campaign with Adwords, yay :)! I have a pretty hot niche in my opinion and I have good keywords. My only questions are, what is a good price for a keyword, what is considered overpaying, and is direct linking to a CPA offer allowed? It is not a survey or email submit, its a affiliate business where i get paid per sign up,but is that allowed?

I will be updating this every day with my progress! Thanks for your help guys!

Check with the affiliate, you need your own site to be able to track clicks. I don't think will allow direct linkking but you can try. Perhaps you should build your own site and just have high linkking to your affiliate site. You can presell on your own site. As for bid prices $1 or less is good. Depends entirely on your niche though

Depends on the competition for that particular keyword. PPC is a maths game, if CPC is $10 but the conversion is high with a high payout then it can be relatively cheap. As opposed to $1 bids that will have poor conversions and poorer payouts. There's a lot of variables to consider with PPC!

Just a heads up, Google seems to be clamping down on affiliate marketers at the moment so keep us posted how you get on! :biggthump
