First off, I have been reading many post on the site and have just decided to sign up. This is obviously the goldmine of information for those looking to make money online. With that being said, I would like to share some of my success with my new site. I am not sure if I am allowed to mention it or not so I will not out of respect. My site has been active for about 2 weeks now. I spent the first week getting the word out, building a facebook fan page, and getting approved for Adsense. I was then able to get the ads going and on the first day saw a little activity on earnings. I then played around with banner placement and boom the amount increased. The banner placement appears like another advertiser ad on the site and therefore gets high CTR. All clicks are Organic and do not come from me or friends. I am very aware of Adsense strict policy and monitoring. I have had clicks range in the ~$3.00 range ( I know more of you have seen higher :) ) I am looking to eventually push this to $100 a day and I know it will take a lot of work with increasing the traffic. But with what I offer, it is unique in the way I do it. I have attached a screen shot of my earnings (with the 12th not complete for the day). I have blacked out the items that my be against Adsense terms.

No a problem. I am not sure if I can explain it without showing the site. If a more experienced member can tell me if that is ok, then I will mention it. Otherwise, I do not want to violate any terms. I can tell you I run an advertising website and the adsense ads blend very well for the most part. When people click on them, they most of the time think it is a paid advertiser of the site. :)

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. Right now I am focusing on improving what is working: keep building the facebook plan which in turn promotes the site and brings in advertisers. Slowly but surely. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Congratulations on the adsence earnings and I'm sure you will reach your goal soon. This has inspired me to start building websites again to try and make a living online. I've made a few profesional looking sites, some hand coded others with WordPress. When it comes to content writing though I lose motivation and get distracted easily. This time round i think i will try speech reconision to write articles because im lazy. Do you have any tips on how to write content without giving yourself a headache?

Did you cashed out any money?

Google usually suspends your account near the cashing out amount or when trying to cash out.

You might think you break no rules but google simple can chose to not do business with you without a reason.

The good thing about my site is I really do not have to come up with fresh articles as it is service based. Although, I have incorporated a few keywords that do help me reach some $3 clicks. If you really despise writing these articles maybe you should look into having someone write them for you. I have seen where people will write x amount of articles for $5. I would of course ask for samples of their work to make sure you don't have to do too much editing or proofreading on your end. You can have the best articles, best site, but if you are not getting the traffic to your site and in turn clicking your ads, then no profit!

I have used Google before and have received payment. These account has been active for a while now. I just had to submit a new site for review. I have never been banned. I was in a similar type of business a few years back and ended up selling it because I could not devote enough time to it. I am aware of how strict google is and I assure you these are all natural clicks and no rules are being broken.

    Thanks,

For those of you looking for ideas on new content, here is what I can share from my setting up channels and monitoring them:
The following keywords pulling in applicable ads have been returning at least $3.00 per click:

    onlinedegree 3.04
    carinsurance 3.00
    mortgages 3.14
    loans 3.26

These are averages which mean some clicks bring in more and some less. These numbers are what is being paid after G gets their share. Anyone have any keywords that have been seeing higher returns?

Luxury products tend to bring high revenue from clicks. I'm impressed by your fast results. Keep it up.

Thanks for the input. I decided to do a ton of research before targeting specific content. I took a couple of tips from some people that have been in the business for a while. I am surprised to see the high paying clicks but I do know that some people have earned way more with one click. I am not greedy but want to get the best return on my efforts if possible. I like setting up channel specifics in order to monitor which ones are the best performers.

Traffic is originally derived from Facebook fan page for the site. After this it has now become mainly direct type ins from new and repeat visitors.

Sure. The key is to have your website up and running and all bugs worked out before you start promoting the link. If people go to your site and do not like what they see, they are likely to never return. With my site, I offer advertisers a chance at some good prizes, cash, trips, cars.... etc. On my facebook page, I also give fans smaller prizes: $25, gift certificates, free month advertising, etc. I post a message such as "If we reach 100 fans by Friday, we will give away $25 (or whatever prize I choose). This in turn encourages the fans to share the message and get others to like the page. When I see an increase in fans, I then promote the page to draw in site traffic. I come up with new creative things to get current fans to go and recruit new fans. This is the best way to do it. Just make sure you give our the prizes or you will quickly have a bunch of unhappy fans.
