I want to be a professional driver but, I don't have the money for this as it's more of a recreational dream so I'm a college student trying to make some cash for school, books, and a car since I have to commute about 1.5 hours to school every day and ~2-3 hours back. What I want is the Infiniti G37, been busting tail trying to get it. Hoping this online stuff can help me with the car as well as school. Anyways, I bought the domain a few days ago, 5 x 500 word articles added (100% unique I would hope as I wrote them myself) *7,000 global monthly searches *3-4,000 for my long tails *Got indexed *Got ranked to page 3 *Moved to page 2 *Disappeared from google, but the "tag page" is now on page 3 (changed to noindex for tags) *Just bought 300 backlinks for 7 bux (Angela paul) All longtails are pages 2-3. I guess now all I have to do is wait to see how this plays out. If it is decent, I'll just add more longtails before I move on to a new niche. I want this site to actually be professional, read-worthy, and trustworthy. Anyone got any suggestions on a good wordpress theme? I want one that looks good, don't want any "CTR" themes that will raise a red flag. Note: I plan to outsource backlinking since that's all I have problems with and do articles myself. Comments are greatly appreciated.
CTR themes raising red flags? I think that's more of a myth. I have plenty of CTR themes and I haven't been sandboxed. If you have the right content, have decent backlink diversity.. then you should be fine. Keep searching the forums and learn something a bit more every day. Find tips and guides on programs which will help you. Good luck with the outsourcing, though
I agree, you think Google is going to just sandbox you because of your theme? Maybe if you added one junk article and never updated it again. Just start off with quality useful articles and keep adding more slowly over time. If the information your site harnesses is answering vital questions for your customers then why would Google want to get rid of you. See the thing is you say that you don`t want a CTR theme, but the point of MNS is to make MONEY. Most people do this with Adsense, unless your going to do CPA then I would highly recommend a high CTR theme to make your MONEY. It comes down to content. I personally have Twitter and Facebook pages for my MNS sites aswell, because it is becoming more about the social aspect of websites.
Spend more time on social media optimization! I am beginning to see that Google tends to trust SM sites more than the typical web 2.0's.
@maxok I'm at the bottom, but I got here from page 3 @davids355 Will do, thanks for the words of encouragement!
How did you make your way to page one? I`ve been jumping around on top of page two for a couple weeks now, just bought some .EDU backlinks, hopefully that will push me onto page one!
I honestly have no idea. Bought Alexa&Paul backlinks then ended up on page 1. Now I'm on page 5 for some odd reason.
Don't worry about it, it will bounce back, keep on building high quality links and you'll end up in top5.
