    Hi gang,
I have been following the dejacrew saga and had some private convo's with some in the first group and some in the second.

I admire the persistent optimism..I am normally optimistic unless my hype meter goes into buLL$hit mode (thanks to Nicho the master bull$hitter)

Jon appears to be cut from the same cloth as TJLIght. I say that and ask you consider why would someone who takes your money set you up for all the false promises and raging overblown excuses,,,yet you see from HIS website he has been responding to FREE opt-ins to his forum when they have questions.

    I submit evidence exhibit #1

It's really sad and unfortunate yet I am learning alot of what NOT to do.

    Cheers

Boy this is sad. I found the ebook and really thought it was great. I can't believe from reading that that you were all tossed to the curb like a bunch of cheap whores.

I was thinking maybe he was captured or something and had no way to access you guys.

    What a let down.

The pictures have been hysterical by the way.

Still, it is all very sad.

I appreciate the comment. Someone asked my why I "wasted my time making funny pics"... well...its no that I have lots of free time on my hands. Rather I felt bad for those who parted with hard earned money (I a-l-m-o-s-t fell for it) and thought I'd bring a little levity to the situatation.

I would really advise those who bought to challenge it BEFORE 30 days from purchase is upon them.

If I knew Keith Carridine personally I'd ask him to kick some wudang a$$

Well to tell you the truth I still hope he will finish his work.

But even if he leaves us at day 20, I wont go for a refund because its worth the price... even more than that... but its quite sad we cant trust a guy like Jon.
I had great conversations with him.

Why don't the people who paid for it and actually received it send it to the ones who have not gotten it.. or better yet just release it to everyone.

Alas...... as far as I know, there's only been 1 person who has received day 20 (I think he was in the first wave of students) of a supposedly 30 day email coaching course.

The rest of his disciples have; at best, received only up to day 19, while a number of others have received even fewer emails AND incomplete lessons in the whole series

I believe folks paid anywhere from $75 to $199 for the coaching email series, depending on which wave (1, 2 or 3) that you were in.

I'd love to hear more from feedback from the students in the first wave...... good or bad.. your experience will be additional learning for the rest of us

    Cheerio :)

He's probably just enjoying the hospitality of the Chinese government. I hear they are quite pleasant with fat, chain smoking Americans who want to be Ninjas and embrace capitalism publicly over the internet.

    Okay folks,

I'm not gonna hide. I voted "No" on the poll asking if DejaCrew should be banned.

Reason: I continue to believe that Jonathan aka Dejacrew is a nice person. His service delivery and coaching program obviously leaves much to be desired. However, Jon has delivered something of value to most of us.

Compared to Mr. tjlight; who although not having charged course fees, nevertheless delivered nothing to most of us and wasted my time in filling forms, signing a crappy NDA, and signing up for the aff program under him. (Neither am I even suggesting that tjlight should be banned either).

Banning Jon might not be reasonable or fair, perhaps, since he didn't scam us.

Plus providing poor service isn't even near the same fraudulent category of outright scams. At the worst, he simply disappointed many (or all?) of his customers from waves 2 and 3 (Not sure about wave 1, cos it seems to me that the students in wave 1 continue to remain silent?).

Anyway, not banning him will allow an avenue for him to provide explanations, perhaps?

Most important of all, if you go to a restaurant that gave really poor service, would you try and petition for it to be closed down? Probably not, right? You would simply not patronize that restaurant ever again. I feel the same "rules" might apply in this case, which means that if Jon ever provided another offer again, folks would really think twice before committing time and/or money to it, given the past experience or track record.

    Juz mah 2 pennies wort'

With all due respect Gifmore...if he won't respond to his buying customers...why would he give a rat's nutsack about being banned? (and i certainly don't mean to insult any rat's nutsacks)

I don't know about a ban...I just think he should be publicly "flogged". Seems more and more of these..."hey I'm no guru but I gotta secret that'll make you rich" nutjobs pop up then disappear...and more recently on BHW. I just think before he got to promote it he must share ALL 30 lessons with Admin.

    Hiya AboutBizz,

Frank and honest exchanges of ideas and opinions are great, always and I do appreciate your feedback.

Moreover, I can't disagree with your opinion. :) Not even in the mildest possible way.

Plus your observation about these new "hey, I'm no guru" types is quite accurate... I think they are appearing in many other forums also :p

This comment of yours is particularly a gem:
And perhaps we should all pay more attention to such offerings in the future aka buyers beware ...unless...

On a separate note, perhaps the dejacrew disciples (myself included) should move on and actually work on whatever materials we have.

I've considered setting up a little forum or membership group for my fellow disciples but I can't figure out how to tell which of the folks really did "buy" his coaching course....or should it be any and all are welcome? Also, I don't want to steal Jon's copyright to his course by replicating his material.... However, a help group forum for your peers and by your peers might be useful for everyone.

Anyways.......... maybe I'll let this idea stew and incubate for a while, perhaps :D :p :)?

P.S. Some followers of these dejacrew threads might juz yell at me: "Just start working on your own dejacrew sites/projects and stop wasting time posting to these threads, ya slacker" :p Chuckle...chuckle....

    Cheerio
P.S. actually, all I wanted to say was "compassion" to Jon, and "thank you" to AboutBizz, but ended up slobbering my thoughts above.

I got a chance to see the material (lessons 1-19) and as a journalist I then went to validate what was said by Jonjon The Naughty Monk.

Many of his links are either down or redirected to his main site. If you check for backlinks, they are sadly lacking. He has a number of posts on web 2.0 properties with the tag line the same and most have NO response and if they do they are smartass remarks.

Does his stuff work? A few techniques work well and some other things are to be tested and are truly dependent upon the product/audience. He appeared to do some initial work and I walked away realizing his philosophy is "throw alot against the wall and see what sticks."

Does he make money with it? I suspect not. I dont see the traffic frankly. Even on his blog site he has only a handful of "members"... you'd do better finding and downloading the Ryan Deiss membership series. He talks about a number of the same things...WITH PROVEN RESULTS.

Yep, another insightful question by AboutBizz:

All students need to discover this truth, or the lack thereof.

Even with days 20 to 30 missing, the sheer quantity of work and time required on the students' part is just HUGE.....!!!

Conceptually, Jon's ideas appear to be logical and somewhat inspiring even (for me, at least). However, the only way to discover the truth, i.e. whether the strategy works AND whether you can build a list and/or make money with his strategy, that really remains to be seen. Hence, the possibility of putting in plenty of effort....but getting little or no returns, exist.

Of course, one would need to follow through the plan to the end...which happens to be missing for now.

The other concern (my own) is that, what if some of the methods get your domains suspended and hosting account/s shut down?

....Or perhaps it is a case of "Just Do It", learn what you can (and you will learn something useful, for sure), and Discover the truth ?

My rat was insulted, as was his nutsack, but I told him (them?) you didn't mean it...

Funny you should mention it, since I'm no guru, but I do have a secret that will make you rich. Feel free to PM me if you would like the 'missing' lessons 21 - 30 AKA 'Dejacrew's Apocrypha' and I'll send you information on how to get them along with my PayPal info :) -e-
