Hi guys. I joined here last October. The Making Money section is where I have been living and slowly but surely I have been learning as much as I can going from a complete noob who didn't even know what hosting was to building an Amazon review site and making about $300 from it by posting the link directly to social platforms and relevant forums.

That however is really inefficient and I quickly get banned from forums and the facebook pages I post on. I want to now get my feet wet with ranking in search and black hat seo. I am not a complete noob at this in theory as I have watched a lot of Matthew Woodwards videos about backlinking, and web 2.0s and tiered link building etc. However it is all quite overwhelming and I don't know where to start or what to do.

I need some advice about where to start. How would you guys advise me to approach getting my Amazon niche site ranked in search? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I actually want to get my hands dirty and try out some stuff manually first. Not sure where to start though.

Hey there, welcome and congratulations on your success! I think it's time
for you to start living in the White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO sections of
the forums. I'm learning about SEO as well and there is a ton of great info
that you can pick up from there.

Second, I suggest you start another project and experiment with it on
your own. So once you're done with your research, grab the tools of the
trade and get to work. At least that's what I've been doing.

Third, purchase some SEO services from reputable members here for
your primary projects until you start seeing results on the project that
    you have been experimenting with.

I don't know much about SEO but if you have any questions, I'll do my
best to answer them. And I hope that someone more knowledgeable
will correct me if I answer with something that's complete BS. :)
