He said it in his new video on PLF,com that one of PLF students is a high ranking Apple insider. He believes (or probably knows, if he's in constant contact with the "student") that Apple iPhone 4 launch was based or largely influenced by PLF.

I'm not sure why he would want to hide the fact that he's working for Apple (if that were true) as it wld have boosted his credibility.

And finally, just as the mysterious "lost iPhone" was most likely a "planted iPhone" Jeff could be BS'ing about his student working for Apple. It could be he's just found similarities btn Apple's and PLF formulas which he's using to his advantage and needs some story to link the two.

Though that had certainly boosted his sales through the roof, I'm pretty sure Apple won't like him doing so.

Apple has always been famous to prevent their employees from leaking new product ideas and/or company information. They are supposedly even given "code names" to discuss to be launched products in the office cafeteria or outside the company premises.

And I highly doubt Jeff could be BS'ing about PLF being applied for apple. He certainly won't like them apple guys sue him.
