I want to buy a javascript redirect from a site owner. One of his page rank high for keyword "blue gadget" . I wat to pay him on monthly basis for a javascript redirect to "blue gadget" page on my site.

    Questions ....

    - Will he lose ranking in Google for term "blue gadget"?
    - Will it hurt his ranking for term "blue gadget"? in long term?
    - Will the javascript redirect beneficial for my site from SEO perspective?

I want to buy a lot of javascript redirect from several site owners with different domain names and ip addresses ...

    e.g.

javascript redirect from "site1.com/bluegadget" , redirected to mysite.com/bluegadget.html
javascript redirect from "site2.com/greengadget" , redirected to mysite.com/greengadget.html
javascript redirect from "site3.com/blackgadget" , redirected to mysite.com/blackgadget.html
    and so on..

Since this is not a 301 or 302 redirect Google will most likely view it as very blackhat. Worst case is that both sites get banned. Your site will not benefit at all in terms of SEO and his might lose ranking. Why not do this as a 302 (temporary) redirect instead? Google views that as completely OK.

Thx but the 302 redirect will be from multiple sites .... is it safe for them and for my site in term of SEO? Won't google confused because I got 302 redirect from multiple other sites?

a specific page on Site A perform 302 redirect to a specific page on my site
a specific page on Site B perform 302 redirect to a specific page on my site
a specific page on Site C perform 302 redirect to a specific page on my site

    and so on

Both sites would likely suffer a penalty.
