I've never seen Star Wars or Star Trek. What should I start with and why?

I never like those type of movies, I'll go with the latest Marvel movies if I were you.

Marvel movies, seen glimpses. Definitely not my thing. I've been to the Avengers Endgame in iMax 4D due to some social gathering of old buddies.

Dune, I've read the books when I was in college. I'm just afraid the movie might ruin it for me.

Do you want to see those other series or just not that interested in them? There is a LOT of major entertainment series I haven't seen yet, even though I love them, because I am saying them up for a rainy day.

Never watched StarWars but i also recommend ds9 and tng.

Farscape is also amazing.

What i also love is Babylon 5. Too bad the people died already and the new babylon 5 will never be recorded now.... DS9 is quite similiar but both are gems.

Queens Gambit, Peaky Blinders, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Better Call Saul, Ozark, "Love, Death & Robots", Black Mirror, Mr. Robot, Inventing Anna, La Casa de Papel, Narcos, Alice in borderland, The Witcher, Kingdom, Squid Game, Lupin, Arcane, My Name, Mindhunter.

All great series I recommend, skip the last season of GoT and you'll be golden.

Space-related movies are something I don't like and never found interesting. The same goes for fantasy, I think Lord of the Rings (and GOT) is pure crap.

Space Jam is an exception!

I haven't watched any of them either, but my wife already likes them both (but prefers star trek)

If you like science-fiction, read Stanislaw Lem
There's one of his novel's made film: Solaris
And there are 2 versions of it - The rusian directed by Andrei Tarkovsky
and the american - featuring George Clooney

Star Trek and Star Wars are for everyone. Solaris (2002, the American version) had a $47 Million budget, it's not like it's some indie film.

What does anything I wrote have to do with the author of a book?

Why would I need to watch Solaris to know what the budget for the film was?

Why would I need to care about the Russian version to care about the budget of the American version?

I get it. You think you are special because you don't enjoy the most successful and popular film series of all time. Cute, really.

I would recommend Home alone movie.
