I mean you could pull an Evan Edinger. Here's how you get verified according to his tutorial:
In order to get verified you must have:
    - A song on iTunes
    - Work for an internet company that has a relationship with Twitter.
Tell your company that you can get verified and they will magically hand you that verification form so you can verify your company. Once you fill out their form it will say "Verify another person?" This is where you say yes! From there you fill out the form and show the link to your iTunes artist page and from there everything will align with the stars and you'll get verified! :D

In reality that's not how you're going to get verified right? So in my opinion if you want to have a chance of getting verified keep posting music, use your Twitter, and build your audience! This way you start to not only build an audience but as well contacts. With these contacts be it label or record companies you'll build up that ladder and sooner or later you'll get that blue badge. If you distributed your song via TuneCore Twitter might verify you gradually. As well, have a site linked to your twitter and have music on that site.

Verification is all about who you know or how significant Twitter thinks you are for verification. I wouldn't pay for verification imo as most of the time they aren't going to verify you.
