    tl;dr - steemit.com + bitconnect + proper help on my website = yowza! Cha-ching!

Okay. Let's start off by saying I've been involved in the cryptocurrency world since 2013, just after the last major high of Bitcoin. Those days were pretty insightful and I learned a lot about the market. The price of one coin went from $1000 to $150, and although morale was at an all time low, that didn't stop businesses putting forth new crypto coins into the ether. Now the price is up at $3300 per coin and we're having a huge boom, but, all is not lost for new people. I feel we're just at the beginning.

There are very little ways today to earn some crypto without parting with some hard earned cash. Even 0.01 of Bitcoin is worth about $33, so it's hard, and um, well, there's little point investing in something that may go back to $150 in less than a week. Unless you're a die hard believer, like me.

Along comes steemit.com, which allows us to earn STEEM coin in exchange for our artistry, as long as it can be put to screen, steemit will work its magic. Think of it like wordpress.com but in its infancy. Steemit works on the simple premise that if a user likes your content they will vote it up. By placing their 'vote' on you, that is how STEEM is mined and you are gifted with some coinage. It's not easy at the beginning, but you know, no-one ever made anything from doing nothing. STEEM coin can easily be traded for Bitcoins.

It works like building a blog essentially. You write content and comment on other people's stuff. All the guys that have blogs will tell you that's essentially how to grow your audience. The more audience you have, the more mullah you make. Here's a screenshot of my earnings:

Okay, so we earn a fair bit from STEEM. Price is low right now so the rewards are sucky and sometimes it feels we're doing it all for nothing. When it rises though my account worth may double, or even treble. Depending if I decide to keep it in there.

    What now?

I found Bitconnect last month, and nice. This has been a great earner for me too.

    Non-affiliate link: https://bitconnect.co/

Basically with this, all I have been doing is adding a bit of my steemit earnings in and reinvesting. The rewards are something like 1% per day, although it's not guaranteed. Sometimes you receive 1%, sometimes it could be 0.1%, it varies.

There's a picture of my bitconnect earnings, and yes, that $800 was earned this month, and I have withdrawn some of it for other things. I will warn you that the community is torn between is or isn't bitconnect a ponzi - so like everything investy, if you plan to try it, do so at your own risk, or with cash you are prepared to lose.

So, with all this mullah, I've been ploughing it into my proper website. It's in its infancy right now but I'm getting there, I'm planning to run training courses, so we'll see.

But, there's my method on how I've managed to finally break my internet cash cherry, and I wish you all well in your journey!

That's fine - the story is more important. I thought I'd chance it by putting in my referral. Obviously not :)

Wasn't there another blogging thing that paid you to use it? Like facebook but your get money. Was it klout or something? This sounds like a new spin on that. Any one used steemit?

You published +1800 post to earn 800 - 1000$ .. Do you have any idea if you published this in your own website, slapped adsense anywhere, how much would you make !!?! Actually if you sold those articles you would have made 15,000$ easily !

There are two Steemit journeys in the journey section. You should have a look if you're curious. The OPs give a lot of info about the platform and also answer questions.
