google search engine it asked me to enter a capcha because of unusual traffic coming from my network,

why is this happening when I always have used proxys

The actual proxies you are using through the SB tool are not hiding your IP. Your best bet is to use some sort of private proxy.

This error was driving me crazy enough to just start searching with Bing. Google was either flagging my IP for usage or even something as stupid as multiple search queries within a few seconds of each other when I wasn't even running anything.

Does this mean I could get google banned

Same thing happened to me. Not all of the public proxies actually hide your ip address. I started running scrapebox on my vps so i dont really care if google blocks that ip :-). If you dont have a vps, then you best bet is to either invest in some good private proxies or just harvest from yahoo and bing. Often, those two are much faster than google anyway

you have to test proxies...
i use new proxy harvester (scrapebox > options) and no problems in last 3 months.
scrapebox is testing if a proxy hides your a$$
of course you have to check "use proxies" :)

Cheers for the advice mate, I'll go get some private ip's before I scrape google, anyone know some good proxy providers

unr3al is currently the best overall provider on the forum. True story, I keep a list.
