Give it time man. It doesn't happen overnight and it may take months to get that Page 1 if your website isn't of high authority. Be patient and keep doing the work, you are on the right path.

If you think it's the niche, just forget it. When people say that, it means the niche is competitive, therefore, hard to rank, but if you've chosen keywords that are easy to rank for, it shouldn't matter.

    Update 14/02:

Words are coming along nicely, nearly 63k (inc. unpublished words). These are all info words. About the last 10-15k words are for low competition KWs with low monthly search volumes. The rest are for the old method (the way the guides teach you).

I've identified a couple of articles that are doing pretty well in the SERP, so I've built a couple guest posts targeting these inner pages. One has a significant amount of traffic (2500 monthly searches) and there's a couple of others with lower, so I'm looking to try rank these to page 1.

Buttt... after speaking with a few people/ a friend of mine, I've decided to take a slightly different tact on this business. My site is set up as a dropshipping site. But, I'd like to learn how to make SOME money in the short-term, so I've decided to test out some money articles on my site (amazon affiliate).
    - I've set up an amazon affiliate account.
    - I have a team writing a 5400 word product review + buying guide.
    - I have a freelancer working on creating a Divi page for this.
    - Once done, I'll put the aticle in.

These will be articles in my niche, targeting products that can't be dropshipped. The idea is to build these so I can learn how to get SOME money, even if small, so I can build more of these/ reinvest in my site for links/ content/ everything else. I'm just thinking about long-term sustainability.

What are your thoughts on this? Anyone done similar? Sensible or not?
    Ravi.

    Update 19/02:

Amazon guide is in, and edited. Looks fantastic! I'm just waiting on my Divi page to be created, and then I'm going to input, and start building some links to this. Content writing has been ticking along OK, need to focus more on this side, and keep pumping out info, whilst working on this side project.

Will be at 70k ish words by the end of next week, so that's exciting.
