I've been deindexed by Xrumer. No really.

A warning and a question.

Had good ranking sites. Did load of Xrumer blasts (paid for, not my own). All great, helped them rank. Brilliant.

Then I decided to ping them. Big mistake. #1 site down to <50 in a day then <100 in 2day then deindexed (nothing in site:domain).

Not just those sites, but every one with a webmaster tools verification code.

I have a site that has exactly the same template, but with no verification code. Aslo Xrumered, but not pinged. Still indexed and #3.

So beware (or do this to your competitor).

Have removed the verification code.

There is no pre-defined time frame for this It may take a week or a month or a year(rare cases)

Just force the Google bot to visit your site frequently by add quality unique content frequently. You will back on SERP

from several weeks to months

that's why you don't need to ping anything. Let google decide when to index your links. Your website could disappear from serps forever. Submit it for reconsideration and tell them that you received lots of links recently which you don't recognize and don't know how you got them.

That's why you don't use GOOGLE Tools on your websites.. especially your not so white hat websites. Get away from using Google and find alternatives.

A couple of questions that will be helpful to the community:

1. How many links did you have before starting blasts with xrumer and what kind of links were they?
2. How many xrumer links did you blast the site with?
3. How old is the site?
4. Did you have a lot of unique content on the site or was it scraped / spun stuff?

Probably had a few thousand across homepage and deeplinks.

Mostly Xrumer and Scrapebox.

Xrumer was really working for me, up to #1.

Then pinged about 2,000. Site's about a year old.

Mostly scraped products.

The key is the linking via the Verification Code. Even WH sites have been deindexed.

DO NOT PING

And do not put verfication code across your sites.

I think if it was that easy to get the sites deindexed then i would have been doing 1x for my site and 10x for my competitors sites + pinging them 10 times!!

I am still having trouble believing that you are penalized, Have you recently added links, or on-site changes to your website? Is it also possible, with xrumer, that for awhile you had some quality links from xrumer pushing your site and then when google re-indexed , moderators had cleaned the links so your site took a huge fall... it may come back and settle. I don't think you were penalized though, I think this is just what happens when you receive and lose large amounts of authority.

This is not from xrumer. I use it 24/7 rankings stay for extremely hard keywords.

Seriously, I have done nothing else to these sites.

I have been danced with before, top ten to <1000, following a blast, but they've come back after a week or so.

But never has a blast to one site affected others.

And never have I disappeared from the index.

But I have never pinged before.

Thats it. Never use Google Webmaster tool/Analytic on your BlackHat websites.

I ping all the time. Constantly. Forums, blogs, guestbooks.... Never had a site deindexed....

That's just for the record. I'm not arguing with you, just adding my experience so that maybe you can track down the real source of the problem.

Hmm. In all honesty, until now I had never bought the theory that xrumer could deindex either. Maybe I went over a google threshold for one spam links to one GWT account?

Anyway, all sites unlinked now, so we'll see what happens. Planning a big SB blast now on one sit to see what happens.

Running Xrumer 24/7 and pinging 24/7 also and never had any problems... just sharing experiences here.

Google would never deindex/ban your website for any factor that you don't control. They would do that in few cases being.

1- Copyright complaints.
2- keyword stuffing.
3- too many similar pages on the same domain or subdonains (aka duplicate content).

but not for anything out of your domain itself.

Nice, i buy a blast, and ping the links and my competitors are gone. i dont think thats the way your site was deindexed. That cant be.
