Oh how I love this thread. Well this year is shaping up nicely, especially if you can offer insane deals. I'm definitely going to try getting in on the toy market this year and make some extra cash.

I have a friend who has about 150 one-page, single action sites for popular toys. All he does is create a simple, no-frills review/price comparison site for each toy. And his domain names are keyword matched to the titles of the toys. He is an Amazon Associate and makes anywhere between 5 and 10K a month during the off season. Then at Christmas time, he does about two to three times as much. He makes a nice comfortable living :)

Gizmo you are right on the money here. I have targeted a few items on Amazon and purchased domains for them. I have Christmas in mind but I know these will continue to give me some revenue for a long time.

Here is my take on this. Buying domains for specific toys is great. It is a great investment.

I do SEO for people. Sometimes I do their SEO and they don't pay me. I often just use the work we have done and go on from there. One guy keyed in on kitchen products via Amazon. We created allot of Web 2.0 properties for him only to be left holding the bag. I am going to pump them up in about a week. I hope to make my money back and more.

Hubpages are great for promoting products. Look at the Hubpage I did for BHW. It is on the 1st page out of 10,000 comp. Sometimes it makes it up to #1. I like Hubpages so much I bought hubpagemoney.com lol.

    Lots of Luck,

    Frank
