    Hi,

    i found a Site which has good rankings on the searchengines.
    After i look in the Sourcecode the Site is using header tags this way.

    Code:

    <h3 class="h4">
    <h2 class="h4">

    I think the Font Size of the h3 and h2 are resized by CSS to a smaller Font Size and it looks strange.
    I don't know if Searchengines rate that as Cloaking or it can realy help to get better rankings.

    The Site is wirkaufendeinauto.de

    The Code from the CSS, looks strange, what is your opinion?

    Code:
    .h1,.h2,.h3,.h4,.h5,.h6,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6{font-family:"Helvetica Neue",Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-weight:500;line-height:1.1;color:inherit}
    .h1 .small,.h1 small,.h2 .small,.h2 small,.h3 .small,.h3 small,.h4 .small,.h4 small,.h5 .small,.h5 small,.h6 .small,.h6 small,h1 .small,h1 small,h2
    .small,h2 small,h3 .small,h3 small,h4 .small,h4 small,h5 .small,h5 small,h6 .small,h6 small{font-weight:400;line-height:1;color:#999}
    .h1,.h2,.h3,h1,h2,h3{margin-bottom:9px}
    .h1 .small,.h1 small,.h2 .small,.h2 small,.h3 .small,.h3 small,h1 .small,h1 small,h2 .small,h2 small,h3 .small,h3 small{font-size:65%}
    .h4,.h5,.h6,h4,h5,h6{margin-top:9px;margin-bottom:9px}.h4 .small,.h4 small,.h5 .small,.h5 small,.h6 .small,.h6 small,h4 .small,h4 small,h5
    .small,h5 small,h6 .small,h6 small{font-size:75%}p{margin:0 0 9px}

    It's just styling of elements, it's not cloaking and won't effect ranking at all.
    In the code I see a lot of semantic errors, but in most browsers it works because browsers just ignore errors.

    Might be - if you want the keyword in h2/3 and dont want the user seeing it and running away. But usually Google catches up pretty fast. I haven't done something like that in years, so I am not current on how it works these days.

    Styles are really strange. Probably some one making experiments on influence of such css on ranking :) or developers of site have both left hands.
