Yep. They're not interested in viewer numbers in the same way TV stations traditionally are. They're taking into account segments watched and shared on social media and so on. They have a weird business model but I guess it works for them.Netflix's content strategy is a scattershot approach, they mass produce mediocre content and hope something hits. Quantity > quality because they can't be in a position where there's no new content for users to watch.
