It's just as hard to sell at 99 as it is to sell at 999$?

For people who sell to offline clients..

    What do you think?

Would you rather go after 10x99$ potential clients or 1x999$?

If the amount of work involved is exactly the same then I wouldn't care tbh, if one was slightly less work then I would go with that.

Agree, if one drops for some reason you have the rest. A bit more security

About the 'never keep all your eggs in one basket', you could obviously just make more sales at 999$ too.

Then it would be more something like 30x99$ vs 3x999$.

That's one way to look at it.. I was more with the idea of which one is the smart/better/efficient one and can make the more money in the long run (and which one can make more money in the short run).

Yes, but he asked if 10x99 or 1x999

SO, if he makes 10x999 it means 100x99 :D
But there is a margin where you can't go above, you can't take car of 100 customers at 100% efficiency.
SO I would say start with many $99 then easily start getting bigger prices from new customers, like after you have 10x$99 try to get 1x$199, then get 10x$199, then go up to $249, etc. Don't jump directly in something you can not handle or risk to lose in any second.

Because he supposed 1x999 is as hard as 10x99.

Soo, making 10 contracts x999 is as hard to make as 100 contrcts x99.
If it is as easy to make 1x99 as making 1x999, he would not have made this question.

one thing that is important to realize in sales is that your bank account does not reflect your customers. if you have 200$ in your bank account and you make minimum wage making 350$ dollars a week and your bills are 900$, 100$ is going to be a lot of money from your perspective. alternatively, if a potential customer is netting 120k with 25 in the bank, 999$ probably isnt a lot to ask for an online advertising solution. additionally, if you bring him a consistent return on investment he will absolutely refer you to his friends who are also making 100k plus.

if you think that your services are worth a hundred bucks than you are probably right, and asking for anything more from a customer will raise suspicion.

It's about finding the right balance- undervalue your product/service and that's going to damage your credibility.

I'd like to choose 10*99$ because it looks reliable and efficient.1*999$ will not work fast.
