It's that time of week again, get anything awesome done?
Well, I joined Monday. I finally tried to make an online income this week.
* A twitter bot
* A tumblr bot
* A script that scans for certain images
I made zero money and zero follower progress this week, but I think the
fact that I got my feet wet might've been good for me.
Started a Yoga workout
Drank 1 gallon of water a day.
Created a new marketing and advertising website.
Setup courses for Marketing Psychology training and learning.
Invested in land to setup my own personal offline businesses.
Thinking of buying a new car ...
1. Been doing some Instagram stuff a bit more (follow/unfollow mostly with aroundd 40% follow back rate)
2. Rented some of my social accounts for an okay pay
3. Informed my audience that I am raising my prices up 50% and got a good reaction (I'm doing something with Facebook groups)
4. Got drunk last night
5. I'll be drunkey tonight too
I got up at 8am the whole week !
Closed 3 or 4 new jobs, should have a couple of them finished early next week.
Received hundreds of PMs from logo designers, after my freelancer thread kept getting bumped.
Downloaded some courses from Lynda, one of which I started going through today (Online Marketing Fundamentals), to refine my skills. There's some pretty great stuff in there about putting together a marketing strategy, figuring out your target audience, etc.
It was a pretty good week overall.
Right on. Why'd you code them over buying them for $100?
1 gallon is a solid amount. That is so healthy. Good work. You're an inspiration.
Right on. What type of content is the course? Video?
That's a solid rate! Must be female accounts.
Hahaha yes, that's a pain that we can't close our own threads anymore. Now every freelancer thread we've posted will be bumped for eternity. I think I'm going to post a bit less threads in there. I find courses to be a bit vague and not really super targeted like what we need. I read a good article yesterday over on Point Blank SEO. Some of those SEO blogs have excellent content.
Cheers, I'll check it out. I've subscribed to a few web design blogs over time, but it's hard to find quality content these days, rather than another 500 word article they paid for, just to flesh out their site.
I ran my bots as usual, ok, more like they ran themselves lol.
Bottled a few thousand bottles of wine again .
Soldered a few thousand wires for display tools, which will be used by tobacco companies. We need to assembly at least a few hundred of those by Monday, so i guess i'll be working the whole weekend.
Lately i enjoy offline work more than online stuff.
This week was a little more eventful for me.
One of my client's sites finally hit the 1st page for a primary keyword, despite the incident with the "social engineering content" warning earlier this month.
I have a client who always pays late who actually pay early this month, so that was a surprise.
I purchased my tickets to go out on my business trip. Tickets are expensive for the next few months, so I almost considered just driving out there.
It took a few days, but I found out my car was leaking from the power steering pump cap (bad gasket) rather than the coolant like I originally thought.
I started playing around with targeting a "different" type of keyword (kind of like trending keywords) that essentially brings traffic in an hour after I post the articles. It's working out quite well.
Hurt my Back, spent the week whining like a little bitch. Couple of projects now delayed even further.
Haven't had a drink in months so been having a little snifter each night, purely medicinal.
mainly a week of tidying and tweaking stuff.
quick solution on one site that gets high traffic peaks. I've put this down as I originally planned to spend half a day changing from apache and testing and accomplished in 20 mins by installing varnish.
Got several great affiliates involved with a upcoming project, better than dealing with XXXX amount of affiliates who don't really send much traffic.
finished an admin panel saving me a ton of time checking several servers/services in the future for a project.
Moved some more sites around to better hosts and updated several others.
Started my more healthier diet managed to remove junk food while working completely this week.
Got my payment of 66 pounds from a site today! It was basically no work, just posting links on Reddit and getting views for them. Ez money to invest in SEO for my site.
Rankings for my main site has been improving really well and even my second site is getting 10-15 visitors daily.
Had to change all the pretty links to amazon on my sites because the account got rejected bc of no sales XD So that was a lot of work but got done w it.
Now, its time to bet on the euros, hopefully i wont lose a lot haha, started with only 10$ Lets see how far i can go
I'm a programmer, so if nothing else, it's the only thing I'm at least kind of good at. Plus $100 is steep for someone who has $0/yr.
started gym workout
burned 2 facebook accounts
made 360+ from burned fb accounts [ adsense - 250+, mobidea 110 ]
started growing some IG accounts
Neat. I'm a programmer too (Bach of CS), but I don't code unless necessary.
Oh, I'm self-taught. I wanted to get a degree in CompSci, but every college I've looked into is horrible... I spent almost a full year learning what I learned 10+ years ago in one day, which was just a massive disappointment (SICP for the win!).
I love programming, it's pretty much the only thing fun to me at this point.
well, i just delivered articles to my clients, there were lot of backlogs, finally all cleared.
Finalized travel details for an upcoming vacation.
Hit a six-figure net worth what up.
Began research into potential investment properties.
Promotion at my office job finally went through.
Hit 15 pounds lost since the middle of May.
