What did you accomplish this week?

I wrapped up 2 4-figure client deals last night. Still trying to remember what happened earlier in the week. Wrapped up the coding for my tool, SerpClix. I also decided to release some of the old software I have, including a traffic arbitrage system. Did a lot of reflecting on strengths/weaknesses. I think I did about 20 free consultations on software people need to fill my spare time with $60/hour development services. All in all, decent week. This weekend is a long weekend in Canada so I'm taking the afternoon off to pack up some stuff here at university, run to the liquor store and head out of the city, back home to host a party! :)

    What did you accomplish?

In two days I coded my own 301 url shortner (hate editing other people's code), and then coded another tool to create 301 url shortner in bulk for my expired web 2.0's to work as tiers. I decided it was best to have control over all of my links, at least as much as possible.

I've been creating more articles, and going to be launching my own product in a few weeks, to make that ching ching site.

A lot of work ahead, and working my ass off.. and still on my vacation! :p

Made my first 2.50 from crank view PPL, it ain't much yet but it is a start for me. I also went ahead and started pumping out some pillar articles for my site. I am looking forward to a very productive long weekend here.

I managed to resize mine to fit with the new BHW platform requirements. Yeah, been a hectic week and glad it is Friday.

Been working hard on a site for a client and had a bunch of KWs finally move into money spots for him:

That only shows 4 of them but a slew of them moved where they belong for the guy.

Also, finally caught a fish off of that dock after building my arms up to Popeye status casting with no results.

I'm not quite sure which made me happier, seeing the client get his money's worth or catching that little guy.

He is little - look big because I have no skills when it comes to images - about 2 pounds or so and was about 9 inches long. I released him so he can get a little bigger and be breakfast on the grill in a few months.

This week was a slow week in the Real Estate world. I'm in a slump in the Rental market. Went on a showing that ended up getting messed up due to bad keys. Tomorrow I have a showing with a lead I am pretty sure is going to close so let's hope that's my slump buster.

I have yet to do a sale but that's because I haven't really picked up the phone and started dialing away. Not something I am too excited about because I'm a little nervous about how people are going to react when they ask me my sales history.

This week I have decided that I need to step away from "the way it's always been done" and start working on my brand/image. I made my own website which is very sharp and targets the luxury demographic. I've also been pumping out content that's sure to attract tons of readers. Other agents in my office are taking notice and two are ready to pay me $800 each when I am done with my. It'll be a quick job as I have my template saved and they will provide all the writing. I will upsell to them monthly services for upkeep and updating.

On Monday, we start renovations on my grandparent house which will take 1 month. After that I will either sell it for them at $400,000 OR I will buy it from them at $230,000. (They're giving me both options)

Sorry if the above didnt make sense. Been working since 6am and will probably try to go until 5-6pm.

reduced regular programming clients I get work from to around 8. I had done this before but it didn't free up time like I expected and reach goal of 15-20% of my time. I took a better approach this time and literally documented every min spent interacting with client/agency or working on project. Turns out for some jobs I was working up to 30% below my rate!

several keywords started to move up for 1 site which I thought were never going to move, after a few months work put in.

Moved project that's been in beta for a while to final stages.

Started another Amazon affiliate site. I'm going to loosely follow meathead's method for this one. Other than that I've been really busy with family life and coding.
