Ok before you go and throw your stones at me, I am not talking about top 10, but within top 30. I going with full force with SEO and link Building and so far my results really surprised me. I always thought and read that focus on other search engines because Google is tough, yaadaa yaadaa but it's funny how some of my keywords are ranking like 13, or 11 in Google but 46 or 60 in Yahoo XD. And they are practically not even found for Bing! :hahaha:

Ya - google isn't too bad. I have noticed that all 3 search engines really like it when the keyword is in the domain name. Especially if you own the exact match - that's like gold.

This has been my experience as well. I have one site that reached the top 10 for exact keyword search on Google in as quickly as two days, but I still can't even find it after going through pages and pages of Yahoo search.

@Talsin, you raise a very interesting point! I do use Yahoo or Hotmail for link building, and based on the account creation date, they can date what is being forced and what is legit... I am gonna test it with some of my really old email accounts and see if it's any faster.

I have always found it easier to rank in Yahoo and Bing. Bing can take a little time, but Yahoo is a piece of cake. What I have found though is over time, Yahoo fluctuates a lot more than Google. Once you anchor Google, most of the time I stay there.

Seems that Yahoo puts more of a precedent on your on site optimization. As long as your title tag is good, as well as descriptions ect ect, build links, and it is much easier. Google definitely has much more complicated algos.

yahoo's algorithm emphasizes on on-site optimization.
google... well, you know what is important.

if you want to rank in yahoo, just spam your site like there's no tomorrow.
it has been working for me like that.

So you think this why Y & B are harder on us? I set up Yahoo junkmail accounts for this but never really thought abut it....

And yes BING is the bitch to rank for.

    I think its worth considering.

I am testing at the moment how much the author affects the pick up of pieces. The two major factors that easily identify your footprint is often email addys and IPs. If your trying to rank high in a SE but you have been creating back links and using their own email providers to sign up, I think your asking for trouble.

But maybe im just being paranoid, I really havent done enough testing yet, thats why I asked you guys if you where using yahoo/hotmail accounts.

It depends on how and what method you use in ranking. I'm still having troubles on Google and Bing but all my keywords on all sites are rank 1 to 5 on Yahoo.
