Hello everyone,

I haven't been too active lately, mainly because I've been working, but I'm making this post as a reminder to myself that staying motivated is key, and results take time.

Two days ago, after selling a $1700 product on Amazon, I accomplished my first $50 day with their affiliate program. I get ~200 clicks to Amazon each month on my 2 year old mini-authority site, and things are just now starting to heat up.

I had lost my drive to write content due to school, but seeing progress like this gives me all the motivation in the world. I plan on focusing my attention more so on product reviews now instead of informational articles.

Thank you to everyone who has taught me something of value here. I will certainly be giving back in the near future!

Nice share, would you share source of traffic with us?? thanks

Looks like he's getting traffic through SEO

@b2mcd congratulations! If you get 200 clicks each month you could try to analyze your funnel. Why are they not converting? Might be, because it is a high ticket item and therefore more information is needed.

What did you do to bring that traffic? what kind of SEO strategy you used?

Thanks for sharing your success. :)

Good to see a success story in BHW after a long time. Haven't seen such post lately. Keep it mate. Don't lose focus.

Yes, 70% SEO traffic, 18% social, the rest from direct and referral. I focus on high quality content aimed at low competition keywords for SEO, and Pinterest is my favorite social for traffic (see my guide if you're curious).

Conversion rate on Amazon is 6.5% for me, and has remained consistent. I think the problem is not that my items are too highly priced, but the other way around: I market too many inexpensive products which don't pay very much. I'll work to correct this over time. I'm happy to answer additional questions, but thank you all for the encouragement!
