I've made a few threads here and there. I've failed many times. I am sure as hell NOT going to give up. For those of you out there on the verge of quitting, don't.
Now, let me tell you about my day. Well, actually, my summer. I love videogames, I absolutely can't get enough of them. I can't even concentrate on them because something has been bothering me. When something sits at the back of my mind, it stays there until I do something about it. Ever since my summer vacation began, I've been thinking about making money. I've thought about every method on the planet, and already concluded I would fail at it, or I was too afraid to try. Do NOT do this. Many people have said you have to want it. You have to WANT to make money. It's not something you will achieve just by sitting there thinking you can get by reading a few threads and start making thousands. It doesn't work like that unfortunately, I've been there.
One thing you CAN do to make money though, is assess your skills. I have not made any money whatsoever yet. You may be thinking, "What does this guy know about making money, he hasn't even made any!" just because I haven't made any money, doesn't mean I don't know how to make it. Now, getting back to assessing your skills. For me, I'm a good writer, I'm an avid user of the computer and I am very familiar with them, such as troubleshooting and general use of a computer. Now, what the hell can I do with this?
Just by pairing these together I can conclude that I can write an e-book on computer use, and general troubleshooting.

Now, we'll get to my plan of action. Since I haven't been doing anything to make money over the summer other than writing, I might as well work on something I can turn into a success eventually!
I plan to write an e-book on general computer use and troubleshooting, just as mentioned above. It'll be about whatever I can do when I think of computers; I'll talk about programs you can use for image manipulation, programs you can use to speed up your computer, etc etc.
After I create my e-book, I will create a website which sells it. I don't know what I'll sell it through; amazon or google probably. I still have a lot of research to do. I plan to make an authority site actually; I will offer my e-book as a side profit and probably put adsense or something on the site! Over the summer I plan to write plenty of articles to put on a website, and I will slowly work my way up to passive income. It sounds so great, passive income. I hope we all achieve it one day!
Since you've found BHW, you probably aren't your average kid/adult looking to make money. You obviously have a burning passion. Turn what you love, into money. Monetize EVERYTHING you do. I'm on the computer all day, I write articles on article service websites. I make a decent amount of money, roughly $20-$100 a day depending on how I feel.
A little bit about me: I'm 17, and I want to make a difference in my life. I'm not going to get a minimum wage job and watch my life waste away as I do nothing but serve food. I've been there, done that. My dream in life is to travel to all the countries this fine world has to offer; I am in pursuit of adventure. I wish to help people along my way, whether they need water or food. I WILL make a difference. I have anxiety, and I'm an excessive worrier. It's time to fix this, and break that barrier that is preventing me from making money.
Thank you all for your time, sorry if this seems scattered. I typed it through thought process! I have a few questions about e-book writing, if anyone is experienced in the field I would love to ask you a few questions about it. I'm very excited to begin writing my general computer usage guide/e-book and sell it
.
(Oh, right. Tomorrow I begin keyword research for computer related topics or things. Hopefully I find something I can work with. I don't know how to do keyword research, but I'll learn from some of the stickies and help I received from a few members earlier.)
Oh, and BHW. Thank you so much. I have not made a dime, but I have a million dollars worth of knowledge. I'm going to make it tangible, and once I do, I'm totally going to donate.
