It's Been Over 1 year 352 videos later NO GROWTH AT ALL

good luck to OP, i'll dab for your success

You're in the toy niche? You're up against people buying millions of high-retention views. So what should you do? Start buying LOTS of views.

No you don't !!

I would advise OP to take suggestions ONLY from people who actually have insight into this and run a toy channel... or manage one...or many..

@DanielOnYouTube Do you own/manage one ? Cursory advise like this while well intentioned may drain OP's already thin bank balance.

OP sent you screenshots and replied to your message there. I would sincerely warn you to take advise from people who meet 2 criteria:
1. Don't sell views/subs/wateva (They have a vested interest)
2. Run a toy channel (Dynamics of this niche are VERY different..Well meaning people like daniel may lead you astray because of lack of first hand experience in this)

I've been on YouTube since 2009- before Toy Channels were even around.

I just wanted to thank everyone for being so kind to us and offering help. I am now working with someone from here who has been nice enough to offer extended help. I don't want to name who it is in case he doesn't want me to, but thank you so much! I will keep everyone posted on our progress. Again thank you everyone for the advice and for taking the time to help. You guys are so nice. Hopefully I have positive news to report soon! We love you guys! Thank you!

I'm sorry I can't say the name of the channel here as I was told not to by several people. I can talk about it in private if you are someone who can/ wants to help us. Thank you for understanding.

Do you run a Toy Channel yourself - Yes or No ? Simple question.... dynamics of each niche are different. I am not gonna argue with you..
It is not MANDATORY to buy fake views, likes, subs or anything.. People can be successful without that. Your being on YT since whenever doesn't impact anything if you don't have niche specific experience..

Your demo is mainly hanging around snapchat. You should take your best content pieces and chop them up into short snippet "trailer" type of clips and put them out across your social media platforms. Add subtitles and ill say it again ... make sure they are good clips you put out. It's quite simple you just need to master the channels. If you take what I said seriously and become a practitioner then you will begin to see the growth.

Yes I agree. I know that I certain number of views / subs they have are fake. I'm just wondering how they can afford to buy SO MUCH. I just looked at a site. It's $40 per 1k subs. So just for 10k that would be $400. 4,000 for 100k . And that's not even close to 800k that they got. Not to mention 2 million subs that a channel that started at the same exact time we did got. Factor in that they have 200k to 1 million views on so many videos, you would have to be rich to get anywhere. Is that what it is? I just don't have enough money to get anywhere?

I have not done any back links no.

I think part of this post is to ask what I am missing. I have tried everything I can think of to get traffic. No clue what I am missing! The niche isn't a problem. I am seeing channels all the time in the same niche who have been around for less time than we have who are seemingly killing it. And by the way, their quality is nowhere near ours in video or anything else! I've seen some with100 or so videos with over 500k subs. We have 352 videos! It's not the nice that is the problem. It is something we are doing wrong.

Also one example is a channel called Grace's World (something like that, not exact name) . I looked at the SEO. It's awful. It uses like 5 keywords per video and they are words like, jump, dive, sink, play, fun, kid, doll, etc. The description is like "Barbie is jumping having fun" . And the title is like "Barbie new day out" . The worst SEO that goes against anything I learned about SEO. Each video she has is in the millions of views! 4mil, 6mil, 32mil, etc. THAT'S SO EXPENSIVE! No one can BUY all those. NO WAY. SO how are they doing it?? They only have 108 videos! 549k subs! That would cost a fortune!!! Their top video has 57k views! And there are a bunch like that. HOW!? lol . NO SEO at all!

This is the SEO in one video: latest, Australia, Room, Boat, watch, Grace Mulgrew, free, online, Fun, Island, Adventure, Australian, Barbie, Barbie Adventure, Video, Cruise Ship, Ken, Grace's, Dolls, New, YouTuber, Barbie Cruise Ship, Isabella, Annabelle, Kids

Description: Barbie, Ken and the twins are off on a cruise ship adventure

THAT'S IT!

Maybe they have a good website with large traffic

Maybe they have a good instagram account with lot of traffic

Maybe they have a twitter account with a lot of traffic

Maybe they have a big facebook page with good traffic

Maybe they have an other good network

Not all big youtube channels are (fake) or spended a lot of $$$$.
If it was that easy everybody has a big youtube channel and earning $$$$.

It is not easy but it is possible

Hahahaha.. Kids are not allowed to be on FB !!
You have no idea how Toy niches work.. 3 year old kids are not on FB.. Laughable advise.. See the niche before leading people astray..

Garbage.. Not all niches work that way.. a Toy niche channel putting content out on play doh will get zero or negligible accidental traffic via IG, FB, Tw, etc.. This is the definition of shit advise. Which 5 year old is on IG ? hahaha..

i sent u a pm can you reply?

buying subs is never never never a good idea. youre just asking for attention for all the wrong reasons.

Sorry to hear that. I have been in YT for a long time and I see Kids channel usually do very well. There are few factors that matters the ranking, which I would like to discuss with you,, but I need to see your channel to advice you further. But I should warn you,,, in the thread some suggested using fake views, subs etc,, from your description it looks like you have a genuine white hat channel,, so please avoid those strategy at all the costs. If you can PM me I will then advice you further. I run several successful channels so I may be able to extend my help to you.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. I could not imagine my 3yr old being anywhere near IG, FB or twitter.

Hey I may not be the SEO GUY but I do know soon many children who are stuck to YouTube streaking the fk out of it and watching some weird stuff my advice's

1.branding-yes they ask me to type the band and the type of thing they want

2.clickbait man those kids never know abt SEO and shit all they look for is what the title and the pic shows I would suggest you to clickbait as hell

3.using crazy thumbnails, yes I have noticed they click a lot on those weird thumbnails which as a grown up you would never imagine

4.I would suggest you to get a shutout from any of the channels in children don't know abt link in the description and stuff but it would help is what I think

5.giveaway,anyways you told that you get send free stuff why not do giveaways and ask them to subscribe

6.show that subscribe button at the end of each video and tell subscribe..lol in its funny but it works ahhaha

That's it taught it would help

Don't get crazy with your tags either. You dont need 3534542354 tags on each video. I only use around 5-7 tags per video. You dont want to keyword stuff and you dont want to confuse youtube. good luck!

This thread is full of ridiculous advise.. Ridiculous.. someone said.. Kids don't care about SEO. Well neither do most adults !!
The algo cares about SEO !!!! People don't pick which site to view by analyzing the SEO..
Video SEO is the most important thing which most overlook. 99% of this thread has garbage..
