As a n00b who just started making blogs about a month ago I thought I'd just pass this little fact.
When I found this place I went out and created 10 "blogs". A couple of them I've worked on and done some of the things that have been suggested here and guess what - these blogs have for all intents and purposes done nothing. Zip, nada, zilch.....
So I went to look at my other blogs that I haven't done anything at all with. Although, it seems when you create an "About Me" it shows up on every single blog you make. Something I learned yesterday when I looked at the blogs I haven't done anything to.
But guess what --- several of these blogs have had ~10 new visitors everyday! And I have absolutely nothing on them except this "About Me" widget. So you know what that means --- it's all about the name!
Now, I'm dropping my time spent on these other blogs that are making me nothing and will be starting to do a little something with the ones that are attracting ppl without any help from me!
Anyway, I just thought I'd share this - yet again. Even though many others have said this over and over ad nauseum I've actually experienced it and just thought I'd add my $.02.
When the pros here tell you to have a great domain name - just do it. Since I know that my domain name is attracting ppl I already know what some of my key words will be! Unfortunately it's not a niche that I "love" to talk about but you know what --- too bad!
I'll just have my $$$ making blogs and my "fun" blogs that I don't care whether or not they're making me anything substantial! So we'll see how quickly I can get these potential blogs making a few bucks now!!!!
