Let me give you a hint - when you post things like that, it just shows that you really don't know what you're talking about.

    I tried "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz"

It says it would take 48 quintillion years to crack it, as there can be 6 undecillion. I dont know what quintillion and undecillion means, anyway :D, but if I write a cracker to crack passwords, this would be solved in a day or even less. :D

I like the site though. Nice idea.

You read the top of the screen but didn't read the rest when it included that you were just using lower case letters and 'could be using a dictionary word' (the alphabet in this case). Sites like that base time to crack based on the time it would take to 'brute force' a password of that length and complexity. Typing even just lower cased letters only, typing 26 characters long would take a VERY long time to crack. Even if it's something 'obvious' like the alphabet, it would have to be programmed into the cracker to try it.

Yes, I did read that. But assuming a bruteforce algorithm is above average, they will have all these covered. Isnt it? And the time purely depends on where the algorithm starts. If it starts with numbers, and go on, it will be longer than the one starting off alphabets.

    Well, it depends. Right?

You guys are really just entering your passwords in to someone's script?

I'll check your passwords by hand, just email me your password from your business email account. Thanks!

    :p

The font in the footer could use some help; just a bit of constructive criticism. I like the force of https but personally I'd remove it and let it build Alexa numbers to attract advertisers. ;)

Hey man your passwords was compromised when you placed it inside the values box and clicked enter.
Now some guy is laughing his ass off that people fall for this.

Just saying now is a good time to change that password and don't check it! :p
