It s getting on my nerves

So, I would be pretty quick. I got a niched grayhat website. It is almost 1 year old. It has some articles on it, totalling over 10k. Each article is at least 1k words long. The niche is set up as easy to rank, with not even 3.000 searches/month from the US for one of the keywords, if I remember well. The other keywords as easy as well to rank, at least in theory.

I bought a small SEO package for it, social signals those months and recently some PBNs. Do you think that I ranked? Well...nope. Even if the niche is easy, it still can t climb the first page. Heck, it even got problems staying on the second page.

The speed is good and the SEO score aswell. It even got a SSL.

The thing is that I don t get why this happens. Given the low difficulty of the keywords and the fact that I bought some services for it + the fact that the articles are pretty long, I thought I would be at least in the Top 5 searches.

The worst part? It hasn t generated any income until now and this is really getting on my nerves. I paid some money to get it built by someone, hosting on a monthly basis, then I paid for all those services to get it ranked + my time. I thought of this website as a small side income, believing that given the nature of the niche, it would generate a small income, such as 5$ per day...

But nope, not even 0.01$...Not a single lead from the CPA network and a small number of clicks. What could be the reason? Any ideas? I don t know what to do.... Some would say ”Leave it, dude and start a new project.”, but I think that I got a too big investment on it to just leave it like that.

to leave a site is not a solution and dont give up ,just try to check their meta about search engine allow or check for backlinks if you have webmaster is best to give complete snap of behav so share here screenshot about webmasters from backlink inbound/outbound links

What makes you think that the keywords you are targeting should be easy to rank for?

Most search terms that are worth money and have around 3000 searches per month are usually not low competition, and are often dominated by authority sites.

Your articles being long doesn't mean much on its own either. Take a step back and ask yourself honestly if your site truly is an exceptional site that's better than the competition. Is it a site that people would be happy to recommend and share with their friends? Or could it be better?

SEO is about more than just links, and if Google doesn't rate the quality of your site too highly then buying links probably won't be enough for you to get and keep a good ranking.

Not all sites work out, and there's no shame in starting again and making something better. It can save you a lot of money. If it's not working out, it's a good idea to decide how much more you're happy to lose on this experiment.

Keyword is most likely not easy as you think.

Services you used weren't very good most likely.

Is the keyword something like

Watch the godfather 3 online

Or

Pokémon go apk hack blabla ?

PBN services usually don't work well as you share the link juice with tons of other sites (so they aren't real PBNs anymore, but link farms which google never liked).
better create your own PBN then you have full control and the links you generate have more value.

Keyword research -> Bad
In this special case, just forget about it. I've also lose more than 800-1k$ on SEO with fail but I got some who works well too. Sometimes its better to give up in SEO, when competition is too high.

Or

On page seo -> Bad ( Its not only speed meta etc.. you have more than 100 things to check on on page seo, there are some guys here who can do it for you, if you really spend money you're not at 80$ to try it).

There are lot of things which matter your ranking
Here are few suggetions
1.If you are using new domain or old domain with DA and PA less than 40 then it will need time to scale high.
2.Check the keyword difficulty and search volume on KWfinder (I found this tool showing reasonable results if not accurate)
Check the first 10 SERP results and their DA,PA
If KD is more than 30 then it is not easy to rank keywords. Also if in SERP you find high authority sites then it will add your difficulties.
3.Since you are saying that SEP score is good , I am assuming both on page and off page are good.
4.Buying few backlinks here and there will not help. You should have quality backlinks every months.
5.Avoid low quality PBN as it will hurt your website in long run.
6. Try to get direct traffic from social media accounts.
7.Post atleast one new article on website every week.
8.Do not fully depend on Affiliate Networks,
In my opinion , Adsesne is always the best option to monitize a blog.

Thanks for the heads up, bro. Yeah, my will is to not give it up, but it killsme to see that it hasnțt generated any income....related to the webmaster part, nope, I did not attached it to the Webmaster Tools, simply because like I said, it is a greyhat or actually even blackhat website and I don t want my name to appear near such a website + I plan on building some whitehat websites and attach them to wmt and it would be strange to have both blackhat and whitehat websites.

Unfortunately or fortunately, no. The website is about a rom for a pretty old game.

Yeah, creating my personal PBNs sound like the ideal thing to do, but yet again, I don t even think it would be worth. Those take time and effort. This website, like I said, it s somehow of an EMD and even if I eventually hit TOP 3 I do not think it will generate 10$/day.

I don t know about the SEO part. I just checked it using some free websites. It seems it is in good standing, excepting some js strin.

Thank you for the suggestions. The website itself was brand new. I bought the domain last year and took it to the guy who created the website on it. Now it has some DA and PA, I believe over 10 on both of them, so I believe in this amount of time, this is average. From the report that guy sent me, the keyword difficulty was low, not even getting to 20. Posting a new article every week would be pretty hard, given the fact that the website itself is somehow of an EMD. I cannot monetize it with AdSense, again, because of the nature of the website.


And now a question for you al There were times when the hosting expired and I did not renewe it right away. Sometimes, I renewed it only after some days after it expire. Could this fact represent one of the reasons why the website seems to not perform that well in Google?

Delay in hosting renewal should not be a problem at all because Google does not crawl all your pages repeatedly and in real time.
After posting the content on your website it takes time to index the pages in search engines.Once the pages are indexed , it the quality of backlink which push that page up in SERP.
Now if your page is not live then error 404 page not found is generated and if this happens for repeatedly for some period then it affects your PA.

Even if you cancel your hosting subscriptions, all of your web pages still remain indexed in search engines for long period.
